DeMarcus "Chop chop" Corley...........

Post by T.M.K »

Hi all,

is anyone else finding a huge smile on their face when they see that Corley has upset another youngster he was supposed to be fed-to as a winnable-against big-name faded-fighter?

The guy is now 42 years old, been a pro for 20 years, had 76 fights, had 7 fights so far this year......and is recently making Lightweight!!!

Gotta love an ex champ who keeps being a banana-skin  :TU:

Totally agree. Always had a soft spot for Corley. Always in shape and stil performing at a decent level despite his age. His performance against Paul McCloskey in Belfast was pretty special considering he was supposed to be a straight forward win for McCloskey.

He gave Floyd a few hairy moments as well. Hats off to the guy :salut:

They've finally been matching him at a low enough level for him to get some decent wins this year. He's had one of his better years this year in quite a while.

Round 4 of his fight with Floyd is arguably the most exciting round Floyd was ever involved in. He also stunned Miguel Cotto really badly with a right hook at one point, and had him on spaghetti legs.

Corley dropped once in his last two wins... might want to watch out for over confidence and who he fights (punchers)
