Totally agree, Josh is ready for these types of fights and imo he will beat Dave Ryan. Dave is strong and tough and will be a good measuring stick as to where Josh would sit at British level at the minute. I can see Josh stepping up to the British after another 2 or 3 fights and would give him a great chance against any of the light welters at the minute.

Big step up compared to his previous opponents. Haven't watched much of him so far so will be interested to see how he performs here.

Tough fight mate but I think Jason is a talented guy and is more than capable of getting the win.

Too early for Easton imo, he hasn't fought anyone yet and Mitch Buckland is a good operator :TU:

What matters is both Jason and myself know he's more than capable at this level, I understand your thought process but name a guy on Mitch's record that's better than Jason I can't?

Nobody but Buckland looks to have face the better opposition as things stand. Fair play to both guys for taking the fight with one another. I wish more prospects would show the same ambition.

This is excellent matchmaking by cyclone.. Get a big name that will make Josh look good. Dave will walk into Josh's counters.. I think Josh will stop him within 3 rounds.. As for Easton v Mitch Buckland very very good fight and excellent way to see where you are at.. Mitch is just below British level but a very good fighter.. Mitch will go in as favourite in my eyes but he can definitely pull it off good on these lads for stepping up to the mark

Can't wait for this card, I'm intrigued to see how Taylor copes being thrown in at the deep end,I'm a massive fan of Josh and believe he can go all the way,he looks to have it all, speed, power and a great boxing brain,he hasnt been passed 2 rounds so I just hope his stamina isn't an issue,Ryan is uber tough and obviously used to hold the same Commonwealth title their fighting for and is very durable,he has had a long career though and hasn't fought since his his back went in the 3rd fight with Hibbert so I do wonder if it might actually be him who's going too deep too soon, maybe he could've had a warm up?

Either way I don't think it matters,I genuinely think even at this stage of his career that Taylor's the best Ryan's been in with and I know he's been in with some very good fighters,I just think Josh is that good,I wouldn't b surprised if Taylor wins in about 4 rounds

Taylor impressed me hugely every tone I've seen him.
Really rate Ryan but he looks made for Taylor.

Mitch still on the undercard? I know his wife's really ill at the minute.

Yeah good plan mate :TU: I need to get my oldest from BB at 8 so that'll work in well. I'll pick up some beer on the way home from work. Looking forward to it. Undercard is piss poor though. If it was a better undercard I'd have taken a half day and went to it.

Yeah not the best undercard is it, its the first time I can watch one on Spike though (now Virgin picked it up) so kind of looking forward to it.

I'm on Virgin as well bud so it's a bonus to get the undercard. Friday nights are usually a bore over mine anyway so it's something to watch at least. Been looking forward to the main event for a while! Taylor better perform coz I've bigged him up a lot and have went as far as saying he'll be our next world champ from up here. That kind of talent is in short supply up here at the moment so I hope he does the business.

Josh Taylor looks like a star in the making. As long as he can take a shot and his stamina is good then we have Scotland's next world champion on the way.
