Andrew Moloney vs Duke Micah for Commonwealth title - November 12th in UK
Andrew Moloney 9-0 will fight Duke Micah 18-0 for the Commonwealth bantamweight title at York Hall on November 12th.
Micah has won 17 of his 18 fights by stoppage.
It will be Andrew's first pro fight overseas and, at this stage at least, brother Jason, is not on the same card.

The Moloney have only ever fought below themselves never willing to test there ability. This fight will see if they can match it with a better fighter.good luck to Andrew I think you will need a lot of luck.

Andrew has only had 9 pro fights and he is fighting for the Commonwealth title in his 10th. Compared to the rate of progress of some fighters these days that almost amounts to being fast-tracked. I doubt Micah is in for an easy night.colin russell wrote:The Moloney have only ever fought below themselves never willing to test there ability. A lot of Micah's opponents have negative win/loss records.colin russell wrote:The Moloney have only ever fought below themselves never willing to test there ability. This fight will see if they can match it with a better fighter.good luck to Andrew I think you will need a lot of luck.

Cant argue with you about Duke Micah record but its a lot harder fighting in Europe than fighting chosen over seas fighters.Lets face it T J Doheny has a record of 15 and 0 is an Aussie with the PABA title why haven't the Moloneys appeoached him for a title shot? Research yes I did my research

Granted Micah has double the pro experience. But this has the look of a well matched fight.

Good fight
Both with padded records and making a step up....who will move on to the next level?

I notice that Micah is down as fighting 7-0 Matt Chanda on this date
Micah-Moloney would've been a very good match-up.
