Heavyweight Triple Header?

Post by Taansend »

OK, I know it can't happen but two articles on BS today have one saying that Parker will be happy to fight Price in preparation for Joshua and the other has Chisora calling out Whyte.

Imagine that bill.......

Parker v Price. Can Price land one on Parker before he gets pecked to death?

Chisora v Whyte. Will the fight live up to the pre fight verbals? Who gives a f*ck :D

Joshua v Jarrell Miller. A big punching sh!t talker who will give Joshua a tough few rounds at the very least.

I know it won't happen but I can dream.

Chisora v Whyte could probably headline somewhere like Wembley Arena, the Copper Box or the Excel around the end of the year.

I think I'd rather see Parker Vs H.Fury, or Jun Long Zhang or some other prospect, I don't think Price would put up a very good fight.

If that was all on one bill, I'd certainly be buying that on PPV

Unfortunately, completely wishful thinking.

I'm a fan of Hughie but I'd much rather see Price v Parker at the moment. Dave's last chance so he'll have to come out swinging.

This is what heavyweight triple header "dreams" are made of in 2016? Cards that involve David Price, Dillian Whyte, Chisora and a Joshua mismatch with a 300lb yankee doodle slob?

AJ Pulev headlining heavyweight night in Cardiff

Post by Wales »

Rumours AJ next fight will be part of triple heavyweight header in Cardiffs "principality" stadium (millennium stadium rebranded)

David Price v Joseph Parker, Dillian Whyte v Dereck Chisora and then Anthony Joshua v Kubrat Pulev all bundled into one heavyweight night in Cardiffs principality stadium with the roof closed.

Not too confident in that triple header actually happening, although I think Pulev is a realistic and good opponent for AJ.

Dillian Whyte v.s Dereck Chisora would be a stinker, two of the laziest heavyweights of modern times. This would be the perfect cure for insomnia.

Apart from a Kugan interview, there's nothing to suggest it will be in Cardiff. I bet it's in Manchester.

Would be good, but I can't see it happening. There's no reason why Whyte/Chisora shouldn't be on AJ's undercard, but I doubt Parker/Price will get made.

Would that sell enough tickets to make it worthwhile ? Even with a stacked undercard it would feel like hard work to watch that for hours

This would be great actually. Joshua vs Pulev would be the best heavyweight fight of the year by far, two legit top guys going at it. Then Price vs Parker would be nice as well as Price getting exposed again would be hilarious.

Pulev would be a good opponent for AJ. We might need to see him box a bit for a change. Pulev isn't the hardest to counter but he moves pretty well for a big guy and takes chances. I'd much rather this than Stiverne.

I can't see Price agreeing to fight Parker. Chisora v Whyte would be interesting but a bit of a bore.

The more intelligent pairing would appear to be Parker vs Whyte - Whyte is never going to do anything anyway, so why not feed his flab to Parker and see whether he can improve on AJ's result.

Meanwhile Price vs Chisora is a pairing that will ensure Del-boy is in action fight and not another slovenly wrestle. AJ/Price is a sellable fight if Price can violently blast out Chisora, which I think he can.

Or Whyte v Laszlo Hubert, and Chisora V Sherman Williams or something.
