Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
I'm picking Whyte UD. This will be a roller coaster can't miss fight

Re: Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
Don't think it will be a very exciting fight tbh. Interesting fight but a bit of a bore. Strangely I'm looking forward to it for some reason
Whyte by wide UD. Build up, press conference and weigh in should be lively.
Re: Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
Whyte would probably win, but he may well just be the new Chisora. It'd be interesting to see how it goes. This might be the highest level that Chisora would still be able to win at.
Re: Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
Chisora is a mauler, Whyte is a good inside/outside fighter I think it should be an entertaining fight. You think chisora is too washed up to take the necessary risks similar to Dave Allen??Stuarty30 wrote:Don't think it will be a very exciting fight tbh. Interesting fight but a bit of a bore. Whyte via late stoppage.
Re: Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
I think a lot of the time it depends on what mood Dereck is in tbh. I don't think their styles will gel and make for a good contest. I can see Whyte dictating the pace and working Chisora over from pretty early on. Chisora obviously has a bit more about him than Allen but can be quite lazy and uninspiring at times. If he's in the mood and well prepared he's capable of making it a hard hard night for Whyte but he's a bit of an enigma is Del Boy!StrapMeUp wrote:Chisora is a mauler, Whyte is a good inside/outside fighter I think it should be an entertaining fight. Re: Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
Chisora will make Whyte gas. It's close for 6 but Chisora wins clear.
Re: Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
I am with Stuarty30...really all depends on whether Chisora is bullet fit, motivated to the point where he wants to use this fight as a springboard to get back into the big league and is tactically prepared.
Chisora probably still has a couple of good, winning fights left in him at this strata but if he turns-up having trained much 'as he pleases' and thinks Whyte will blink or is just a level 'below' him then he'll get a rude shock.
Afterall, Whyte's been in with Joshua and did just fine so he has every reason to be confident and also every reason to see Chisora as beatable.
Who knows what Del we'll get?
Could be the flabby, sluggish and apathetic guy who did not realise that Fury was the coming man and got rather humbled or we could get the bloke who gave Vitali a less than easy night and can still deliver some real heat when he is in the right shape/frame of mind.

Re: Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
You'll get "Loser to the Stars" Chisora just like you always get. The only question is...is Whyte a star that's capable of beating Chisora.Bodyshot3 wrote:I am with Stuarty30...really all depends on whether Chisora is bullet fit, motivated to the point where he wants to use this fight as a springboard to get back into the big league and is tactically prepared.

When was the last time Chisora fought like he did against Vitali though? That was a longggg time ago now lol.Bodyshot3 wrote:I am with Stuarty30...really all depends on whether Chisora is bullet fit, motivated to the point where he wants to use this fight as a springboard to get back into the big league and is tactically prepared.

Re: Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
Yes, Chisora well past his best , but I don't think Whyte will stop him, he's a tough old bugger

Both will be gased after one round. After that there will be loads of holding and it will be ugly. However, it will be interesting to see who wins. I'd go with Whyte just because he's fresher.

Re: Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
The prefight buildup of 'beef' and ghetto posturing will be insufferable
Re: Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
Where's the chisora Ko option?
Re: Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
He gave nothing for most of the fight and only looked good when Joshua gased, he showed a good chin, but terrible defense, stamina, and workrate, and also looks crazy sloppy.Bodyshot3 wrote:I am with Stuarty30...really all depends on whether Chisora is bullet fit, motivated to the point where he wants to use this fight as a springboard to get back into the big league and is tactically prepared.

Re: Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
Amazed how highly people rate Whyte, who's yet to have a win of note.
What is there to say Whyte will win? He has a good chin but that won't count for much if he gets outworked, which Chisora likely would since he kept a higher workrate against Pulev for 12 than Whyte did against Allen for 10. He knocked out some mutual opponents faster but for those fights Chisora just turned up for a spar and a pay check, Whyte had to prove himself. He's a bit bigger but not nearly skilled or fast enough to avoid Chisora anyway.

Re: Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
It will be a draw.
Re: Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
I'd have had Whyte as comfortable points decision, but the Allen fight did confuse me a bit. To be quite frank, he should have knocked Allen out probably around mid-rounds, but for some reason he kept switching southpaw, and messing around. I'm not sure if he was using the fight to 'display his skills' but I just hope that's not the way his fighting is going.
There was a slight improvement on the slappy technique shown against Joshua, so I'm hoping he makes good use of the jab and uses that power he has. I think Whyte can knock Chisora out, but it probably will end up being scrappy over 10 rounds.
How Chisora will perform is anyone's guess. I think he may be over the hill, and the Pulev was his last big push to a lucrative fight.

That's a bit negative.Tuan_Jim wrote:Whoever wins, we lose.

Whoever wins will see it as a step to getting a,shot at AJ.
I think chisora will probably have to much experience for whyte and not get caught by those wild punches that you can see coming a mile off.
Whyte really is a terrible boxer. Anyone with a decent jab will batter him like joshua did once he stopped trying to street fight..

Re: Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
Del boy can still raise his game for a big fight, its the cans he looks like shit against.Still not convinced by Whyte,he is looking worse with every fight I see and the switch to Tibbs was strange one.Im going for chisora in a close ugly terrible fight.Trash talk should be fun though ![[icon_e_surprised.gif] :oo](./images/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif)
Re: Whyte-Chisora Who Wins?
Chisora is set to fight again next week (10/09) against Drazan Janjanin, so he's looking to stay active. Looks like he still has some ambition to do something in the division.

A motivated Chisora wins this on points.
Chisora coming in motivated is a big IF though.
