David Price keen to showcase power on next Anthony Joshua card

I know what youre saying. Actually everybodys saying the same thing BUT Price claims to have knocked out Joshua, that in itself warrants attention and a match up. Apparently with Price you just punch and you land so I hear hes hopeless but hey, he claims to have knocked out the champ period.

Joshua wasn't the champion then, he was a noob amateur. Whyte also beat Joshua in the amateurs. Look how that ended? It's so completely irrelevant what happens in the amateurs or what happens in sparring. You know Liverpool beat Barcelona in pre-season this season 6-0. What do you think would happen if they met in the Champions League semi finals this year?

You dont have to convince me that Joshua could beat Price. Based on what practically EVERYbody has said, Joshua would beat Price and I know what happened back then doesnt mean much for the now in this particular case of Joshua and Price. Its just a match that should happen because of what Price did to him IMO. At the same time I totally understand Prices situation and a need for a big payday. I know all that.

Well obviously you're entitled to your opinion, but I, and many others completely disagree. The only reason this match should happen is if Price shows some evidence that he has stepped his game up to world level. If match ups were made purely on sparring rumours and hearsay, the world of boxing would be more of a mess than it already is (at least in the sense of match making).

Julius Long claims he dropped both the Klitchko's in sparring. Vitali never went down during his professional career. It's appalling that the Klits never responded to these comments. They were busy fighting bums like Haye, Povetkin, Pulev and Adamek while intentionally ignoring the real threat in Long.

It doesn't matter that Long has a negative record and got put down by Ustinov in one round. Styles make fights. And we all know sparring is actually the same as fighting. No wonder Klitschko fans never mention this guy.

The only reason Joshua is keeping quiet is that he is too busy sat at home on his couch trying not to piss himself at the thought that Eddie will sell this "grudge match" to the unsuspecting public that will earn them both £millions in PPV for a few minutes of easy work.

Sparring doesnt have the same intensity as fights. To say that sparring is the same as fights suggests you have never boxed as thats what YOU said, no one has said that but YOU. Everybody thats boxed knows styles make fights.

I think its because of the others that were there. Joshua doesnt want to call "bullshit" because of those people that witnessed it and basically cos I think Price is telling the truth. In saying that, I think it doesnt phase Joshua too much now. After all hes come a long way since then.

I saw your sarcasm but I made sure that you understood what you were saying was YOUR words not mine as you tried to bend the context of what I was saying before. Crooked thinking lol. Im not like that, Im a straight shooter, no immaturity here.

For me it means two things;
1. It reminds me that Joshuas not very durable, yes it is the HW division and any punch can knock someone but I dont think it takes much with AJ.
2. Because Price is the only one to have floored Joshua also I heard that during their sparring session, Price was able to land his cross an awful lot and wobbled Joshua a few times before he was dropped.

I too think Joshua will win but that 2nd reason should warrant Price a match up.

Joshua isn't durable. Also, I'm positive that Price isn't the only person to drop Joshua in sparring. He's just the only one desperate enough to show off about it.

Joshua should be fighting top 10 guys, he's already had an easy defence. We don't want another Wilder situation where he has a shitload of easy voluntaries.

Fair enough. Hes got a big name comin up in Pulev as you know but we wonder whos after that. We shouldnt look past Pulev cos its a big name but as you say, we dont want nobodies like Wilder likes.
