Maybe Glenn will end up having a comeback fight against Ronnie Pickering? Battle of the Road Ragers?

I feel The Wealdstone Raider Gordon hill would be a more suitable comeback opponent

Agreed, the hand on the wheel will have been the trigger to smack the fool.watsupdoc87 wrote:mccrory was obviously stupid but why the fuk did that idiot follow him and put his hands on the steering wheel. Drink driving like that is no laughing matter, but i hate the do-gooder types like this guy, a few smacks around his chops has probably been long overdue.

Don't tell me you don't know who Ronnie Pickering is .
Re: McCrory's foul mouth road rage shame
Hopefully, the man's a complete arse winnet. Whenever he's commentating he's just drawling his way through like an old drunk.I wonder if SKY may drop him now ?

Clearly another ex-boxer with a drink problem. Never seems far away from a pint and how many times have we seen him slurring his words a bit by the end of the night.
Not arsed if someone likes a beer, but to then get behind the wheel of a car is stupid in the extreme, to then also assault someone. He should really have got a short stint in prison to be fair for that double whammy of offences.
A shame but yes I do think Sky should sack him for this even though I don't normally mind him as a pundit as much as some of the others. Drink driving is all fun and games until some family get wiped out in the other lane or someone is just out walking on the path and gets hit.

Also wasn't it Glenn McRory who was meant to have put that gagging order on someone he shagged or something? Sounds like he needs to get his life in order.

Good job someone had the balls to do something. Wouldn't be thinking he was a fool or idiot if someone you knew was killed by an arsehole drink driver. I hope they all get caught and licences taken away and I bet Glen is a repeat and regular offender.A mate of mine was coming back from watching Plymouth Argyle play 20 years ago. A drink-driver hit them head on. Killed his two children and one of their friends, all aged around the 10-12 mark. He was trapped in the car unable to move while his son cried for his dad, then died.

What a nob, you'll always get a bigger ban for refusing to take the test than you will for failing it.
Re: McCrory's foul mouth road rage shame
It is just the worse and I am sure everyone can feel for them, and as a dad it makes my heart just ache for them. Every year he does something to mark the occasion and with social media now existing, he makes a long post each year with the details to urge people to not drink and drive. It is always a powerful message. The mother of the children is now the step mum to my next door neighbours kids, I see her picking them up with her husband and she always looks a little damaged, you never really recover from that.Stuarty30 wrote:Jesus that's awful man!tobyh5 wrote:ALI wrote:

The sentences handed out for drink drivers are a fvcking joke as well. Should be far, far stricter.tobyh5 wrote:It is just the worse and I am sure everyone can feel for them, and as a dad it makes my heart just ache for them. it always amazes me the resilience that some people show after these type of tragedies. I have young kids myself and even the thought of something like this has my stomach in knots! Poor people!tobyh5 wrote:It is just the worse and I am sure everyone can feel for them, and as a dad it makes my heart just ache for them. The sentences handed out are a bit of a piss take. It's not a deterrent at all. Most folk don't adhere to bans anyway! They just drive on through their bans.

I say fair play to the guy. A bit chancey - and should have called the police - but still ultimately did the right thing. Too many pass-on-by types these days.MattCoke wrote:The follower was not very brave, he was an idiot.ThereByTheGrace wrote:The follower was very brave to do that.
Re: McCrory's foul mouth road rage shame
Agreed, too many people would rather leave it. I think it was a great thing to do, it's taken another knob head drink driver off the road who could have killed someone. I also agree the sentences should be way harsher than they are, joke justice in this country.Dixonian wrote:I say fair play to the guy. I've zero sympathy for anybody who drinks and drives. It's bloody stupid. If you know you're going to drink, find an alternative mode of transport. There's no excuse except being a complete twat.
