I completely agree mate. If he was injured, that would be one thing, but he signed a contract with a rematch clause. He should shut up and get on with it.
If the contract is written up and signed, then none of the details should change, so I don't know what the Fury's are playing at. I can imagine that the Fury's are all; 'Tyson is the champion, he should not be the one to bow down to a challenger!'.
When the fight was scheduled to take place in Manchester, the ticket prices were sky high, mick was the promoter and some thought he was trying to make up the revenue shortfall (difference between Sky ppv and what BN pay) by making more money from ticket sales, now wlad says team fury are trying to change some of the financial parts of a signed contract, which again suggests efforts to extract more money from the promotion. The impression I get is that nobody has a grip on this rematch - compared to say how matchroom or fwank would totally control a big show - and it is struggling to stay on track. Maxing the ticket prices or trying to screw wlad out of money as has come out today, comes across as cashing out. Are relationships/deals coming to an end ? In a way it's remarkable how bad it's gone for fury since he beat wlad last year, and how little money has been made from it. Joshua is making millions per fight, Eddie and sky are coining it in too, 3-4 times a year, with no scandals, postponements or boat-rocking. Good luck to Tyson he deserves better than this.
