Cheers for the download. Reminds me how much I hate HBO commentators though, Emanuel only had one point to make for the entire fight and kept annoyingly repeating it on how he thought Moselys punches had no power in them and Lederman as usually sounding like a hyper hiena on speed.

Downloaded the fight on Sunday (not from this link, not that there was anything wrong with it!!) and have deliberately stayed away from all boxing websites until today because I had a train journey and wanted to watch the fight on my laptop without knowing the result. Can you believe that?

Really good fight, felt for Vargas. I've never really liked him before but he was really brave, that was such a bad injury and such a hinderance to him when it started to swell up badly.

The 9th round Vargas put in was superb and I found myself wanting him to win and pull it off because he was neck and neck with Mosely without the injury.

But that's boxing, wouldn't mind seeing a rematch, Vargas definitely isn't as shot as many thought...

How could you go till now!!! I usually cave in and check on teletext Sunday morning :(
It was a good fight I thought both guys looked good in there. It would suit Vargas to get a rematch but you could tell Mosley is desperate to get down to 147.
Its strange to think Vargas weighed 166 on fight night

I was very tempted but knew I'd really enjoy watching it today and there was absolutely no chance of catchiing the result in the general UK sports press.

Regarding Vargas weight this almost seems to be the norm these days, a fighter considered a 'natural' at a weight actually weighs 10 or so pounds above the limit come fight night. 166 is a bit exceptional but you get my drift....

I thought Vargas may of been ahead on points and was unlucky in some ways, but he let Mosley hit the swelling again and again - why didnt he keep his right hand up? Why weren't his corner telling him he needed a KO? Not sure how he'd do against the other belt holders (Mosleys smaller for 1 thing and maybe shot himself) after this but not a bad performance at all.
