Why is working men in inverted commas?

A gram of coke and a skinful of booze is 100 quid, that would get me leathered for a whole day and night. That's less than the cheapest ticket available. Add in the cost of travel, accommodation etc, plus spending money for the trip, and you're looking realistically at 300 quid, for what could turn out to be a dull borefest, like the first fight - that's not the kind of money I can justify spending to myself to watch a fight. If I lived in Manchester then I'd probably stump up for a ticket. Oh and that's for the worst seats in the house, where you will basically be watching it on a screen!

I may buy the PPV, but the last one was so boring I'm reticent.

I've kept my ticket and I'm still going.

Yes it's bloody expensive, yes the undercard will be rubbish, yes hotels prices are already through the roof, and the fight will probably be awful. But it's a chance to see the 2 best heavyweights in the world in the UK, and one of them is British. Some times you just have to say bugger it and spend the cash.

Plus I had a cracking time for Quigg vs Frampton earlier this year, and ended up in a club where Pat Sharp (from funhouse) was the DJ.

MJ, David Bowie, and Prince could be DJing and I still wouldn't fork out to see it live.
