He'll have to get in line... Brook, Saunders, Eubank, Canelo, then maybe Jacobs... He's the only one of those opponents who's been knocked flat already
Some interesting GGG fights lining up at last... At looooonng last... I would have loved to have seen the Martinez, Chavez, Cotto, Quillin, and Lee fights

WBA said they will order Golovkin vs Jacobs, so the line may be jumped.Kalan wrote:He'll have to get in line... Brook, Saunders, Eubank, Canelo, then maybe Jacobs... He's the only one of those opponents who's been knocked flat already

Pretty sure it's not the first time they've said they'd order the fightboxing_rocks wrote:WBA said they will order Golovkin vs Jacobs, so the line may be jumped.Kalan wrote:He'll have to get in line... Why are you guys so stupid?
This gives us a solid footing to make a GGG VS Jacobs (The most significant fight at 160).
Who gives a fornicate if he ducked GGG before?
Jacobs is basically the consensus #2 fighter at 160.
We have a chance at #1 VS #2.
Big up Jacobs for stepping up and putting himself out there for criticism if the fight isn't made.
He's not hiding behind promotion.
So now GGG has Lara and Jacobs calling for him.
Good for boxing if one can get made, especially Jacobs in Brooklyn.
Don't worry Freedom 2013, GGG is a bigger star in Brooklyn than Jacobs, he'll get a fair shake.

It is a good fight, but "consensus #2" ??? Based on one win ?

He's rated #2 in most lists. I don't count Canelo as a middleweight. (Former line 160 pound championboxing_rocks wrote:It is a good fight, but "consensus #2" ??? Based on one win ?
Also, the rest of his career has reduced the significance of the Pirog loss.
Just rewatched that fight, and it has been significantly rewritten.
It does give me questions about Jacobs chin,
but it was a good fight, Jacobs wasn't hurting Pirog, but he was winning rounds.
Jacobs is better than people think.
This would be a great fight for GGG.

I wouldn't be as excited as I am for brook, but Danny would be a solid opponent. He'd be a 'bum' to the ggg detractors less than 10 minutes from the opening bell.

Jacobs is a togh SOB but no match for GGG

Danny is underrated to me. He can move, have power in each shot. Only problem is his chin which means suicide against GGG. But kid probably hits harder than Kell Brook. I think Jacobs never recovered from the Pirog situation in fans iesys.
