Would love to see that, some people saying he's retired some saying he's not

Yes, that'd be a great one.
Re: Brook V Cotto @ 154
Cotto already turned him down this year there's no way he wants any part of Brook, he can keep trying to get a fight with Lamont Peterson. HBO asked Hearn if Brook would want Canelo after he beats Smith and obviously Hearn said yes.

Brook might want Canelo by why would Canelo want Brook? It makes no sense. Brook is damaged goods in Canelo's eyes imo, and a worse style match up for Canelo. Besides that Canelo will move up to 160 I am guessing next, to get ready for GGG in the fall of 2017.
Brook could fight Andrade next if he wants a challenge, or Lara. I think he loses both of those fights. Brook needs a tune up he can win. Khan would be good.

I think Cotto is in negotiations with Peterson. Looking at the latest names associated with Cotto, he clearly wants to fight smaller guys. Brook doesn't fit there.

Read somewhere that Cotto has it in his latest contract (presumably with Roc Nation) he has to receive a minumum of $15,000,000 for his next fight. Would a fight with Brook allow Cotto to receive that sort of sum?
Re: Brook V Cotto @ 154
I am expecting that after Canelo beats Smith they will make BJS a great offer as it makes perfect sense for both boxers, for BJS he gets to swerve GGG and get a bigger money fight for a less riskier (painful) fight, for Canelo he would fight a good unbeaten MW (who GGG wants) with good skills and questionable stamina (like himself) for the only other middleweight title. If he beat BJS in May it would make for a real super fight between Canelo and GGG in September (another year for GGG to slow) for all the belts.Badhusker wrote:digzee wrote:Cotto already turned him down this year there's no way he wants any part of Brook, he can keep trying to get a fight with Lamont Peterson. Brook should fight a decent LMW like Martirosyan then take on the top guys in the division. The only guy who I would defiantly pick to beat Brook is Andrade.
