Billy Joe Saunders all talk no show ?

Post by kbackup408 »

It seems like every single MW in this universe seems to find their tongue when GGG wins and claims they will fight him

Another example is BJS

Do you think BJS will fight GGG in 2017 or is he talking out of his back side ?

I'm not convinced.

They're all great keyboard warriors on Twitter etc, but when it comes time to sign, they find a reason not to.

It seems to be that they're all waiting for Golovkin to grow old.

No evidence of it last night, so the waiting continues.

Those guys will have to remain behind their sofas for a little while longer.

True. Same with Eubank giving it the big 'I am' afterwards! Stop talking and get on with it if you want to fight! It bores and frustrates the life out me all this posturing!

I could be wrong but I think an older GGG will be more dangerous sure his cutting down the ring will probably slow down but he still has dynamite in both fists !

So whats next for GGG ?

It used to get me really worked up when things like this happened in boxing but recently thats all I've been seeing

After what Catchweight Canelo did in May with the whole Mexicans don't fornicate around tactic and vacating I lost faith in these MW's

Hope so mate want every big fight in the UK, but I think BJS will go America he doesn't have that pulling power to draw in crowds plus i don't think Warren could offer the same package Hearn gave

Unlikely mate he seems loyal to Warren but I don't think Frank cares if he takes a L he just wants to make £ I mean he put Rigo in with Dickens :/

Yes Saunders is all talk no show when it comes to Golovkin - as are Eubank Jr, Canelo, Jacobs, and the rest! Boxing is fvcking pathetic when it comes to making big fights, the UFC model is the way forward.

I agree 110% I know tons of "hard core boxing fans" who would be offended for even bringing up UFC but Dana is doing wonders lost count how many times i've looked forward to a UFC card as compared to a boxing one

Saunders out prices himself to fight GGG he wanted £5m
Junior & Senior aren't serious they just want to get attention
Jacobs doesn't want any piece of GGG

AND

Catchweight Canelo's promoters are too scared to put him in with Golovkin

The UFC model is definitely something boxing can learn from. My issue with MMA when compared to Boxing is, Boxing is a thousand times more entertaining imo! It's frustrating

Maybe he had no faith in Dickens, whereas he has a few quid to make from BJS if he feeds him a string of WBO challengers like he did with Calzaghe.

What does everyone think would be a reasonable demand for BJS to make. The £5m is a blatant excuse not to fight GGG. Is even £2.5m a bit ott?

The other British fighters are going to be making huge demands too. Have they put themselves in the position for it, personally, I don't think do. Eubank jnr especially, he's not done anything at world level and doesn't bring fans.

If GGG fights here again, even casuals will be out to watch him

^ Agree with everything you said there British purses have been artificially raised so boxers asking for SILLY amounts to box for low risk

I reckon £2 million pounds sterling is more than a reasonable amount for BJS, I think £5million is just a blatant attempt to out price yourself

When I first saw that video in the original post I thought he was gonna start with one of those gypsy mullingar call out vids, calling GGG "a baldie bastard ye, see these". Thankfully it wasn`t.

Saunders would fight GGG, course he would. He`d get knocked into next week, but I don`t doubt he`d fight him. Big money in for Billy Joe.
