Yes, no one believed them, but Danny obviously did. No wonder Frank wants a cheap rematch on ITV - it'll cost him a bomb to get The Beast and he's not going to want to invest too much in DW these days.

Let's be fair to Danny here though, how long have we been hearing on ITV broadcasts about the winner of this fight getting a shot at Valuev? And then Valuev and his team publicy denying they had any interest. Obviously it makes a commonwealth title fight between 2 plodders more interesting but it's misleading the public in my opinion.

How do you get a KO 1 prediction from this potential match? Both Tyson and Klitschko hit way harder than Valuev. I reckon a late stoppage or a wide UD for Valuev.

1. Skeleton and Audley are as good as Ruiz and Donald. And Valuev really lost Ruiz and Donald.

2. Oh and Valuev is a belt holder and not a champ.

3. Who deserves a shot more than Williams? Wlad for beating Peter - well Audley beat Peter in the olympics and Dannys just beat him and Skeleton. Serguei Lyakhovich for beating Guinn only just by 2 points (Guinns worse than Audley)

4. If I'm not mistaken Valuevs been talking about Tarus Sykes who was put away by Peter in 2 rounds.

Skeleton and Audley are as good as Ruiz and Donald. And Valuev really lost Ruiz and Donald.

Oh and Valuev is a belt holder and not a champ.

If the fight comes off I doubt you'll be hearing Danny, Frank or any of the ITV team refer to Valuev as Beltholder.

I don't rate Williams but Valuev will not KO in one thats for sure. But lets face it the HW scene is utterly shambolic at the moment and as bad as Williams is he deserves a shot like any of the other HW out there. There's no-one out there who is any good. I'll stick to the more interesting weight divisions!

This topic is further proof that my theory to eliminate the HW division, yet let them continue to fight under the false pretenses that their matches matter, and make Cruiserweight the new HW division, unbeknownst to all true HWs, should be put into effect immediately.

Williams isn't garbage, he is willing to step in with whoever to prove himself. However, that doesn't mean he has great skill by any means. He did beat a very unsklled, raw, yet relentless Skelton and a scared Harrison, but those two are far from being World Title holders in any facet.

Much as I think Lirva is a twat, I cannot help feel that Skelton won the other night. Williams is still a name internationally, and the fact that they can market him against the likes of Valuev gives some indication of why they would furnish him with a dodgy decision.
