The Telegraph claims that Kell Brook was paid £3m (about $4m) to face Gennady Golovkin, with no mention of that figure being supplemented with PPV revenue. I assume that GGG earned the same.
It is believed that Brook was offered the same deal that Eubank Jr. rejected… and widespread reports indicated that Eubank Sr. cost his son $4m for preventing his shot against Golovkin. So the figure quoted by The Telegraph seem consistent with Eddie Hearn's claims.
Golovkin earned about $2m for his previous two bouts.
