Shannon McMahon, Tim Hunt & Jimmy James - Malvern on November 4th

Post by Like a Boss »

Shannon McMahon, who hasn't fought since Sam Soliman stopped him in early 2010, appears to be on the comeback trail.

Peter Maniatis has Shannon 16-6-1 listed on his November 4th card in Melbourne. He will be only a few months short of 40 by then.

If Shannon does get back in the ring I sure hope he has added some head movement to his repertoire. He showed some promise early on. But was always too easy to tag for better quality opponents because he kept his head so still.

Anyone got basic results? Was gonna view Live Boxing stream, but Maniatis pulled the plug on it at 2pm today. Couldn't be stuffed creating GFL account. Had it, but don't know what happened to it?

Results as follows:
Dale Ludolff and Nicholas Scerri boxed an entertaining draw over 4 rounds with both boxers being dropped once each.
Corey Allen out-pointed Meauli Fakuaua over 4 rounds
Pania Marshall stopped Jasita Yotawan in the 3rd and final round, crowd was unimpressed with the bout and I would guess the promoter would have been embarrassed to have served up the bout to paying customers.
Huss Dehaini out pointed Mike Fisher over 6 hard fought rounds, Dehaini had to win the last round to get the majority points victory.
Jimmy James and Chatri Charoensin fought out a draw over 6 rounds. I did think Tassanu stable was going to get a rare win but 2 judges had it 3 rounds a piece.
McMahon in a shut out over Marco Tuhumary. McMahon used his left jab to win every round convincingly.
Tim Hunt stopped Eddy Camaro in the first.
