Round 1 -Cooper
Round 2-Cooper
Round 3- Even
Round 4-Clay
Round 5-Clay

For what it's worth the only two rounds I could score decisively where Round 2 Cooper - Round 4 for Clay - the other rounds to me were pick-um's

I was amazed to see that twice during the fight Clay/Ali broke the cardinal rule of boxing; both were Jack Sharkey moments - first Clay turns to the referee and complains about a low blow and then later turns again to the referee and points to Cooper complaining that it's Cooper who is doing the holding - both times Clay is wide open, looking away - had it been the boorish, brutish Jack Dempsey in front of him and not the gentlemanly Cooper the former would have ripped Clay's head off with a left hook; all Cooper does each time is pose and wait. They were opportunities missed by Cooper; each time they had already broken clean and Cooper was free to nail him, he should have seized either moment.

So Ali had a one and one-half inch height advantage,
a four inch reach advantage
about a 25 lb advantage
as well as a 'youth advantage".

None of that is Ali's fault!
Actually Ali weighed in at 201.5lbs and Cooper weighed in at 188lbs for the fight - a difference of 13.5lbs NOT 25lbs.

It was shown live in America via the Early Bird satellite
(the first live fight that was ever beamed from overseas)
It was shown LIVE on ABC's Wide World of Sports
with Howard Cossell and Chris Schenkal.
However I cant remember if I have ever seen the ABC broadcast.
Does it differ from the Rank Organisation film of it,from a different angle ?
Yes the live version is very different from the UK filmed version. Different angle, noise, commentary...
Hey evrenb,do you have a recording of
the live BBC Radio broadcast of Muhammad Ali vrs Henry Cooper II
in your collection as well ?
I truley believe that all existing angles of a title fight that are available for study are important for examination and future reference.
I have the Rank Organisation film
The Live ABC broadcast
The Live ITV broadcast with Reg Gutteridge

Was that really a youth advantage? Copper was still just 29 and in his prime.

Oh, I am sorry. That would have been for the first fight. He would have been 32 for the second.
