Lewison v Whyte.
Lewison v Whyte.
This fight is supposed to be happening on October 7 according to some usually reliable sources. Hope it does as it should be a cracker. I rate Lewison but doubt if he will be fit enough to survive the later rounds. Really hope he can pull it off though as to my eyes he is the naturally more skilled fighter and a big puncher than Whyte.
Re: Lewison v Whyte.
It is in the Board notices that came out yesterday is in Glasgow.. This is a very good fight..
Re: Lewison v Whyte.
Good fight should be a tear up and supposedly Lewison is one of the most avoided UK heavyweights he's also ranked 15 in the WBO so a good progress fight for the winner.

Edging Whyte on points in a scrappy one.
Good fight though. Will be his best win on paper if he prevails.

Re: Lewison v Whyte.
You wouldn't really know who to take in this one. Whyte is terrible. Lewison looks crude but can bang at least and will be coming forward throwing shots. I'd imagine Whyte will be trying to do his terrible Larry Holmes impression again.
Re: Lewison v Whyte.
Whyte on points. Lewison won't be in any kind of shape as per and Whyte will pick up more rounds. Probably another stinker!
Re: Lewison v Whyte.
I agree on the Whyte victory only because of Lewisons fitness but I think it will be a good fight early on.Stuarty30 wrote:Whyte on points. Lewison won't be in any kind of shape as per and Whyte will pick up more rounds. Probably another stinker!

Lewison has looked crude of late but does have some skill lets hope that with a step up in opposition he will use it.TheLeprechaun wrote:You wouldn't really know who to take in this one. Re: Lewison v Whyte.
Lewison will probably be dangerous early. He has decent power. Remains to be seen if Whyte is savvy enough to keep out his way early so you could be right. The longer it goes the worse it's gonna get though IMO.rm1 wrote:I agree on the Whyte victory only because of Lewisons fitness but I think it will be a good fight early on.Stuarty30 wrote:Whyte on points. yes they will be holding each other up by the end.
Re: Lewison v Whyte.
Will the British title be on the line for this?
Re: Lewison v Whyte.
So can Whyte. Just because he didn't stop Allen, that doesn't mean he can't punch.TheLeprechaun wrote:You wouldn't really know who to take in this one. Whyte is terrible. Agreed. It was dismal to watch his awful jabbing and backfoot style though. He's better off standing his ground in this one and pushing Lewison back but he doesn't seem like the sharpest tool in the box and I imagine he'll be treating us to the new Larry Holmes once again for 12 rounds.

Is it me or does anyone else think Whyte is a complete prick with a superiority complex?
I would never ever say this to his face lol, but he seems to harp on about Chisora's view of himself and belief that he will still become a world champion, yet he thinks he is the second coming of Ali because he rocked Anthony Joshua.
Would love for Lewinson to beat him....

Re: Lewison v Whyte.
I predict that Whyte will smile and chew gum during all the face offs.

Yes his attitude on sky after the Parker v Takam fight was particularly bad.Fitzy901 wrote:Is it me or does anyone else think Whyte is a complete prick with a superiority complex?

Re: Lewison v Whyte.
If it was a four round fight i'd pick Lewison. Shame about Lewison because he has massively underachieved over the last 10 years. Its a bit late to make a move on titles now.
Re: Lewison v Whyte.
Bit strange having 2 guys from London, boxing for a title in Scotland..

This is on. Who do we think will have the biggest tits on the night ?
