Canelo drained ?
I've seen a few Canelo weigh in's but the one yesterday was shocking I don't know why Oscar is forcing Canelo to drain himself to 154 he looked so gaunt on the scales
What do you guys feel ?
What do you guys feel ?
Re: Canelo drained ?
It's going to be roughly 31 hours between the weigh in yesterday and the fight tonight. Canelo will be fully hydrated, rested and fighting fit for the opening bell.
Re: Canelo drained ?
He always looks sucked in when making weight as he's big for the weight. If you think he looks bad, go and look at Conor Mcgregor from the UFC making weight at 145. He looks like a concentration camp victim.
Re: Canelo drained ?
Whilst I agree mostly, there's always that time where it's one too many, hopefully it's tonight.

He's too scared to fight at 160, so there isn't any other option for him.
Re: Canelo drained ?
To be honest, I thought he exact opposite. On fightnews there are some pics and the face to face picture showed Canelo with a healthy looking face, borderline soft, certainly not gaunt. I thought he simply looked in good shape and healthy and not at all drained. Made me feel he is at the right weight of 154 and really is not a middle
Re: Canelo drained ?
Have you seen Mcgregor making weigh before at all? Lol.tobyh5 wrote:To be honest, I thought he exact opposite. sometimes the damage is done and the rehydration puts on dead weightchad wrote:It's going to be roughly 31 hours between the weigh in yesterday and the fight tonight. Canelo will be fully hydrated, rested and fighting fit for the opening bell.

No, why?

Backs up my thought then, that Canelo does not look at all drained?
Re: Canelo drained ?
Ah no, I wasn't disagreeing with you mate. I was agreeing. I was just curious if you had seen Mcgregor weighing in before as he's so ridiculously gaunt it's mad. I'm surprised it's even allowed when you're looking like that.tobyh5 wrote:lefty wrote:Here he is after just weighing in for one of his fights loltobyh5 wrote:

Re: Canelo drained ?
My worries are more with Smith having never faced an opponent in the top 80 added to him only flying over to USA on Sunday. His brothers (Callum and Paul) had ridiculously easy fights on Saturday, there was no reason to hamper Liam's preparation. If Gallagher continues to grow his stable he needs some help IMO. But will his ego allow it?
Re: Canelo drained ?
Yeah mate, looks dangerous and I am not too sure on the human biology of it, but surely it must be detrimental to health.lefty wrote:Ah no, I wasn't disagreeing with you mate. I was agreeing. Apparently ginger´s have a gene that allows them to drop massive amounts of weight with little or no effect (Canelo, McGregor, Hatton, Incredible Hulk)
