Most nut-hugged active boxer?
Most nut-hugged active boxer?
I have a feeling that this will devolve into a specific type of sh!t hurling spree.
Re: Most nut-hugged active boxer?
I picked GGG, but think Krusher is a close second. You might be right about the hurling spree.Tanzio wrote:I have a feeling that this will devolve into a specific type of sh!t hurling spree.

Re: Most nut-hugged active boxer?
What does nut hugged mean?
Re: Most nut-hugged active boxer?
GGG and Joshua from what I've seen, I get supporting someone, and I actually like GGG, but the fanboyism around those two is insane.

You put "Gingerhead" in the poll, so... this thread can't devolve. It's actually already at the lowest possible level.Tanzio wrote:I have a feeling that this will devolve into a specific type of sh!t hurling spree.

He pretty much calls himself Gingerhead.Lackeos wrote:You put "Gingerhead" in the poll, so... this thread can't devolve. It's actually already at the lowest possible level.Tanzio wrote:I have a feeling that this will devolve into a specific type of sh!t hurling spree.

Yeah, I don't know what it means either.

What is derogatory about nicknaming him GingerHead?Lackeos wrote:You put "Gingerhead" in the poll, so... this thread can't devolve. It's actually already at the lowest possible level.Tanzio wrote:I have a feeling that this will devolve into a specific type of sh!t hurling spree.
Re: Most nut-hugged active boxer?
If it just means who has the most fans, I'd say its between GGG, "Gingerhead," or Wlad.
Can't really judge considering I live in the US. It sure as hell isn't an American.

Nut-hugger = fanboy = fanatical follower
Re: Most nut-hugged active boxer?
Nut-huggery is a few steps beyond normal fan activity. Kind of like the difference between being religious and being a religious fanatic.Tony1244 wrote:If it just means who has the most fans, I'd say its between GGG, "Gingerhead," or Wlad.

I probably should have included Fury.BitPlayer wrote:GGG and Joshua from what I've seen, I get supporting someone, and I actually like GGG, but the fanboyism around those two is insane.

Re: Most nut-hugged active boxer?
Generally speaking, the Brits are the best sporting fans. Joshua.......

Must be Manny Pacquiao?

Re: Most nut-hugged active boxer?
I think it should be the fighter whose reality is furthest from his fans reality.
I think that fighter is currently Canelo.
or any British fighter ...

Re: Most nut-hugged active boxer?
It's not necessarily the fighter's fault if his fans are "nut huggers." Wlad has always been respectful and some of his fans make the 3rd Reich look moderate.
GGG and "Gingerhead," as far as I know have been like Wlad. Tyson Fury is another story.
The question of the thread is very regional. It's almost asking: Who annoys you the most; Eastern European fans, Mexican fans, or British fans?

Re: Most nut-hugged active boxer?
Among hardcore fans probably GGG, although he's a great fighter who deserves a lot of support. Canelo and Joshua are probably right up there considering casuals. Guys like Kovalev, Roman, Loma have their share of supporters, but not up there with the previously mentioned names.
Wilder gets loads of hate (I've been criticial of him, but even I think it's gone too far) and not too much support from what I've gleaned, as is the case with Danny since the turn in his matchmaking. Wlad has plenty of strong supporters, but probably about just as many detractors as well.

I kind of disagree with the "or any British fighter," given the criticism I see nearly every British boxer endure on B & I.BAD INTENTIONS wrote:I think it should be the fighter whose reality is furthest from his fans reality.

I am mildly surprised by the votes Joshua is getting.

Re: Most nut-hugged active boxer?
Golovkin fans are definitely very passionate about their fighter, for good reason. I'm a huge Golovkin fan, but even I'm sick of having to constantly explain how he's fought contenders and he does in fact have a solid resume. One star name on his record and all that sh*t goes away.

This thread is not meant to criticize the fighters. It is all about those who worship them.Tony1244 wrote:It's not necessarily the fighter's fault if his fans are "nut huggers." Wlad has always been respectful and some of his fans make the 3rd Reich look moderate.
