People like you and Claressa Shields should be more knowledgeable concerning other cultures and religions. You're ignorant. Realize that the USA is just one country, and is not the most powerful country, and the world does not revolve around the USA. Just because women are considered equal to men in the USA, doesn't mean that its accepted as so anywhere else in the world. You are trying to enforce your idea of "gender equality" as being correct which is quite imperialistic of you. You should show more respect to other people, cultures, and their viewpoints.BAD INTENTIONS wrote:To say "women don't belong in a boxing ring" is sexist.
Are you trying to to say that of the 3.5 Billion women on this planet, there aren't at least 100,000 who have some genetic strength and physical makeup of a fighter? This could be simply due to random DNA mixture. That's 1 in 35,000 or 0.0002% of women.![]()
So these women can't compete because they are different than your "normal" housewife?
That general view of women, or anything for that matter, is very ignorant.
I actually believe the % of women who are made for physical combat is the same as the % for men.
This is due to vast difference in ability to endure physical stress among male athletes.
Many men do physical activities simply because they are men. They train their body to look strong,
but they break down quicker than other men because they were never meant for physical combat.
However, in a strictly dualistic society that you're pushing, there isn't room for other.
All women (3,500,000,000) aren't meant for combat.![]()

The majority of the world's population does not believe in gender equality. If you argued for gender equality anywhere in the world outside of USA, England, Canada, Germany or France you'd get laughed at to your face. As I said, in Islam you would be violating the word of God to insist that genders are equal and women have as much right to be in a ring as man. In Asia you'd likely be killed for your comments.
Ive noticed in recent years, feminists and leftists in the West have tried to "rewrite" history and are now claiming that it was in fact women soldiers in WW2 who "saved the day", and women warriors in the ancient European times who did the fighting, and women kings in Ancient Arab civilizations. Politicians consistently remind us to thank "men and women serving the country", even though its almost completely men that are on the front lines of any conflict dying. The equality is being coerced and forced upon people and in the process of doing so the truth is being compromised. Many people at one time were saying Ronda Rousey could beat Floyd Mayweather in a fight, or Rousey would beat male UFC fighters. It is a delusional feminist fantasy.
You and Claressa Shields think that just because thats the way things are perceived in the USA means that its the "truth" everywhere else but newsflash: USA sucks at boxing, and even in terms of politics is losing ground. The rest of the world lol's @ gender equality. Just like Sergey Kovalev lol'd @ Claressa Shields.
Also, I dont think the joking was goodnatured between the 2, watch the 2nd video and in that Shields insults Kovalev and accuses him of being a sexist. If the banter was truly friendly why would she later accuse him of being sexist in the media. There is another video of Shields on youtube taken the same day, where she says Andre Ward is her friend and she refuses to wish Kovalev good luck in his next fight. Her tone throughout the videos also shows that she's not joking. Her comments went over the line and she was verbally attacking Kovalev, trying to insult him. Nothing good natured about that. She is an admitted Andre Ward supporter and Pro-USA, so it comes as no surprise that she tried to insult and discredit Kovalev because he is Russian and a man.
I guess overall it was just a case of an independent, strong, alpha butch lesbian, entitled, Sylvia Plath, oppressed, feminist woman taking it to the "man" (yeah right
