This is the general consensus about him but I believe it's misconcieved.

He's one of those people who has the balls to be himself, even if he's different, he's not a pretender, but everyone's human and pressure, criticism, can F u mentally, plus he was fairly loose before all the media. He's been open about his moods and even suicide. I hope he gets better, he moves so well for a big man and he's not just a big man, he has real skill, heart and smarts in the ring. I'm interested to see him fight, the Wilders, Joshuas and a rematch with Wlad but obviously his health is the priority.
I do hope that with help he can get his sh!t together.
:TU: Yea mate. He still young. Lot of pressure. Lot of negativity. Hopefully be stronger for it in the long run.

I'm happy to hear the other side mate. I dont know him personally. What do you think of him and this situation, if it is true he's in a psych ward.

He seems like one of those guys who's really emotional and sensitive. The give away factor is a lot of boxers and people in boxing who know him well say he's completely different off camera. I remember someone saying he is like a cuddly toy, and I don't think they were completely joking.

Actually I completely agree. I know i said he doesn't pretend but I think when he gets into those conferences he thinks he needs to put on a show, be the funniest and loudest in the room and maybe that is pretending, so i've contradicted myself, but I have heard him talk about his moods and when hes not in that group mentality seems to be genuine. He doesn't have a filter...maybe he'll learn that from now. He's complicated ,f%^ing funny though.

This is now beyond a joke. Fury needs to be stripped, we can't have a whole year without a title defence. The Heavyweight title is effectively inactive. I feel for Fury but if he can't fight he can't be a champion. Give him emirates status, and let Wlad fight the next contender. For what its worth I'll support the contender, do not want another run of Wlad.

WTH!? They can't just say it's cancelled and not give a reason and medical proof. Otherwise yes strip him of the title.

If you don't defend a title within a year you automatically get stripped. This should be the rule.

At least Trey Lippe did something impressive today.

I think it's about time to strip Tyson and Wilder from their belts, this is simply not the way a real boxer should stay champion.

To be honest i am not surprised because fury has that doping hearing to attend. How can he be expected to train when he may get banned and then all the training is for nothing.

Fury withdrew due to some mental issues:

What's new ? We have known that he is a nut case already.

This is more of a coverup than Clinton's health and Trump's taxes. Strip him if he can't defend. Fury has to fight or retire.

It sounds true, I think the guy might have some type of mental issue but who knows, if he is sick you have to pray for the guy, but in the mean time, he should step down while he gets his shit and let wlad move on.

It's happened before more than once. As long as he shows it's for legitmate reasons he should not be stripped, maybe made champion in recess or something.

Mental issues runs in families and his biological Dad served time for blinding a guy. Don't know the details but it didn't sound too good.

If he does that, he loses pretty much all the hype about himself. The only thing that is relevant about his boxing career is the fact that he beat Klitschko. If he loses to Klitschko he loses his single point of marketability. Fury would rather fight Wilder and Joshua than lose to Wlad and go back to the dumpster.
Wait a minute :o I thought he was the dumpster!

Cliffs:
-Confirmed that it's mental issues
-Said he needs "time out" and "medical assitance".

-He said as far as he knows it's largely due to the large ammount of critism after his win
-Was struggling to motivate self and was distracted
-Drugs allegations werepart of the problem
-Said he's at breaking point and seaking help
-T.Fury's at a "all time low"
-Said they didn't realize for a while.
-Said he's been "drove underground"
-Said he's made little money so far "not finacialy secure"
-Said he thinks he'll come back, but he may not
-Doesn't seem bothered if they lose the belts.

Sad. Can't understand depression in that situation, but sounds like clinical depression. Not a psychologist, but my sister is and thats what it sounds like.

Wow, I didn't know about the mental health issues! He really is living up to his first name. All humor aside, Fury better get his act together if he wants to keep fighting. As for Klitschko, this must suck. He really wanted to make Fury pay for his insults. Honestly, I feel sorry for the HW division that its had to put up with this circus right when its making a comeback in popularity. I guess Klitschko can either try and get a long-anticipated Wilder fight (which is unlikely to happen) or just hang up the gloves. Smh.

There was no chance I'd watch this rematch so I personally couldn't care less about the rematch. As happy as I was to see wlads fraudulent reign end, sucks for him he doesn't get a second go.
