Actually, Jennings wasn't really completely dominated by Klitschko and Jennings is so barely active ever since that he's ranked way lower as many of AJ his opponends.Horse wrote:Because Joshua will get destroyed and it's not even the biggest money-spinning fight out there for Joshua, especially at this sort of short notice.Fitzy901 wrote:Why not..
Joshua hasn't even stepped up to fight the level of opponent that Wladimir used to dominate (like Pulev or Jennings) yet.

I still don't get it.coneye wrote:Its self explanatory really, , We have a nutcase who no one wants to fight except a 41 year old man holding some belts ,even then its a rematch thats took over a year and still getting cancelled .,
We have Aj who's never fought a top 10 contender holding a belt ,,
We have Wilder who refuses to fight anyone who can hit back holding a belt , would'nt say the heavyweight scene is at its best would you ,, especielly when you have AJ's promoter who can't really make his mind up wether his world champ is ready to fight another up and comer (parker ) who himself has'nt even been tested , and make no bones about it Eddie seems to be scouring the world , for opponents who refuse the life changing money he offers but never mentions how much it is .

Destroying some (17-0 (17KOs) Olympic Gold medallist in front of 50,000 fans on PPV) "hype job" would still be a fantastic end to a great career.Horse wrote:Destroying some hypejob would be an alright end to his career, but hardly perfect.Riddick Blowe wrote:I know, the fight probably won't happen and all, but there's no harm in dreaming. It might not even make it into Wlad's top 10 best wins.skanksta wrote:Destroying some (17-0 (17KOs) Olympic Gold medallist in front of 50,000 fans on PPV) "hype job" would still be a fantastic end to a great career.

You want to list Wlad's 10 best wins, explaining in a few lines why each is better than AJ right now ?!

Wlad has beaten more than 10 fighters more proven than Joshua.skanksta wrote:the trolling, unless...

Joshua would only qualify as one of Wlad's top 10 best wins if we assume that he is capable of achieving more than he has so far.
If Joshua goes on to prove that he isn't capable of beating world class opposition then he won't be one of Wlad's best wins.

Joshua has done nothing, yet people talk about him like he's an ATG. It's pathetic.
Can't they at least wait for him to beat one genuine top 15 ranked heavyweight?
Hes still the future.

When you have non title holders like Wlad, Povetkin, Ortiz, Parker, Haye waiting on the shots and the fights can't be made, it's hard to argue with you.coneye wrote:Its self explanatory really, , We have a nutcase who no one wants to fight except a 41 year old man holding some belts ,even then its a rematch thats took over a year and still getting cancelled .,Tuan_Jim wrote:What do you mean in what way?Horse wrote:In what way?

Wladimir's "10 best wins" would be hilarious to see written down. I wonder how quickly the bloated 42 year old hep-riddled cadaver of Ray Mercer would pop up?

Re: AJ vs Wladimir...
They should be all over this fight. Build up excuses for why wlad lost the first match and add in a line 'that fury knows he was lucky and won't rematch' and they can be the man that killed the king in a lot of people's eyes.

Im reading between the lines here and get the impression with what you have written that Mr Fury has cancelled 2 rematches and failed a body enhansing drug test. Sounds like a decent world champion to me, bet hes a great role model to kids who live boxing.Horse wrote:The reign continued.mimmy123 wrote:And then?

Re: AJ vs Wladimir...
Wlad has obviously been in training for Fury. But a Wlad vs Joshua fight would surely need more lead-time and more planning than the couple of months remaining would allow.
But it is, at the very least, some nice promotional work on the part of Hearn, and after all that is what he gets paid for.

Re: AJ vs Wladimir...
Yes it is a big risk for AJ but so is Parker, Ortiz, Povetkin, even Wilder. He has no place to hide no more. But all three belts must be on the line. Get rid of the lazy bum and reunite the titles.
