Wlad IMO. Too much experience for AJ. I'd give AJ a punchers chance obviously but I'd still fancy Wlad as things stand.

Depends how rusty the older fighter has gained in his year of inactivity.

I'd make Klitschko favourite though.

Klitshcko is obviously the largest favourite, but, otherwise, is necessary to consider his psychophysical state after the Fury loss.

I think Joshua will win this. Perfect timing and he could KO Wlad quite nicely which will go one better than Fury. Eddie always gets lucky! :TU:

I think that Wlad loses to Fury again and also Wilder. Both can be quite unconventional which doesnt suit Wlad atall. Joshua is more textbook in some ways which a man with Wlads ability and experience could manage if he still has 90% left. If however he struggles to pull the trigger, Joshua may walk over the top of him and for this reason its a fight id like to see. I have been critical of Joshua like many others but if he was to fight and beat Wlad id certainly give him more respect even although he is an ageing fighter.

Fighting Wlad after his loss is a dangerous time to fight him if he still has the desire.

I bet when he punches in his 4 digit pin, hits the 'check balance' button he doesn't think this. Eddie has made a fortune in the last few weeks win lose or draw. Eddie is a winner baby :yay:

I rate Joshua highly but he is not ready for this fight yet.
People are saying that Vlad is past it because of the performance to Fuey, but Vlad Vlad really struggled with Fury's reach and movement, couldn't land his jab so there was no point in risking letting the right hand go.
Joshua will be straight up in front of him and a relatively stationary target. Joshua has looked great so far but has not boxed anyone that bridges the gap to class level.
It's vlad for me.

I like Wlad but he dominated against smaller lesser fighters.

Joshua as big as him and 15 years younger.

Wlad has a punchers chance early on but AJ wears him down

Wlad has often gone a bit gun shy and if he stops punching he will lose.

Equally, he's got a wealth of experience and can easily jab & grab his way to the scorecards - especially if AJ's stamina is sapped by this approach.

I'm edging towards Joshua in this one, but it is definitely a fantastic match up. Joshua is still very much in the infancy of his career, and Klitchko has more experience than you dare shake a stick at. Physically I think Joshua trumps Klitchko in every department, but I don't think Klitchko is decrepit by no means. I think stamina wise they will be similar, but Klitchko only operates in short bursts now. 1-2-hold, 1-2-hold. Also Joshua will not be bullied around the ring, which is a regular Klitchko tactic (see vs. Povetkin).

I think a lot depends on which Klitchko turns up on the day. I think he still has plenty of motivation as I'm sure he wants to prove himself after the Fury defeat. If it is the Klitchko that was a bit gun-shy vs. Fury, it'll be a second outcome vs. Joshua. If he finds his range against a shorter Joshua, then Joshua's chin will be tested and most certainly see this going the distance. Be interesting to see what happens if Joshua gets on top of him though...

Joshua via stoppage even though I think Wlad is the more talented of the two. Joshua seems a bit more sturdy combined with having a decent enough boxing IQ himself.

Joshua's stuck in sinking mud footwork is his achilles heel but there's not many bar Fury who could really take advantage of that flaw as of now.

I give AJ has more of a chance than I gave Fury before his fight with Wlad.

Many moons ago there was a huge weakness in Walds armoury and a stylistic blue print to beat him. Manny Steward took Wlad and re-generated him making that weakness harder to expose. I think Fury exposed a new weakness and way to beat the now significantly older Wald. Joshua has the tools to expose both chinks in the armour.

Questions
Does Joshua have the unwavering confidence that he's going to win that Fury had
Can Joshua execute a game plan , and stick to it like Fury did
If Wlad looked like father time had begun to catch up with him against Fury how does he reverse that after 12 months of inactivity during which he's been stop start in his training regime. Can't be easy to be training to peak in October only to be told the fights been pushed back 6 weeks meaning you have to train through

Let's not forget Klitchko struggled with Bryant Jennings in his fight before Fury. Being pushed all the way by a guy who was a full time mechanic 8 months before they met.

The Angel of pessimism whispering in my ear says Wlads finished
same Angel also questions AJ real ability. Do Brazeale, Prince Charles and Whyte prepare you for Wlad?
