Is it worthwhile to subscribe to BóxNatíón?
On the 12th September, BóxNatíón’s list of key “upcoming live fights” included the likes of:
• Chris Eubank vs. Tommy Langford (22nd October)
• Tyson Fury vs. Wladimir Klitschko (29th October)
• Hughie Fury vs. Andy Ruiz Jr. (29th October)
• Marco Huck vs. Ovill McKenzie (24th September)
Out the seven key fights that were scheduled to take place since last Saturday, only three of them remain (as they've all been cancelled for various reasons), with Billy Joe Saunders (22nd October) and Mitchell Smith (8th October) not having confirmed opponents.
With Jorge Linares unlikely to attempt to add Terry Flanagan’s world title to his collection in his next fight, as he’s obliged to engage in a rematch against Anthony Crolla… and GGG unlikely to face Saunders in the short-term…
I’m beginning to think that it’s time to cancel my BóxNatíón subscription.
Does anyone else think it’s worthwhile to subscribe to BóxNatíón? What do you think of the channel?

If you type "BóxNatíón" properly (without special characters), the BoxRec forum somehow automatically translates it to "allegedly"BitPlayer wrote:I prefer BöxǸǟẗïöǹ

Did you type it without the accents or did you actually type "allegedly"? Like I just did thereEnlightened-One wrote:If you type "BóxNatíón" properly (without special characters), the BoxRec forum somehow automatically translates it to "allegedly"BitPlayer wrote:I prefer BöxǸǟẗïöǹ

Type the word properly without the accents and see what happens.DannyMCR wrote:Did you type it without the accents or did you actually type "allegedly"? Also try spell "Fwank Warren" properly and posting that also. How about "fight.hype" as one word without the dot.
Finally, spell the word "s.hit" properly without the dot.

Through a process of elimination we can work out all the acceptable adjectives we can use to describe fighters and promoters we're not too fond of.

Re: Is it worthwhile to subscribe to BóxNatíón?
I think it's run into some bad luck this fall with Fury, Eubank, and MacKenzie pulling out. But I give them full credit for covering a lot of fights in mainland Europe and the USA over the past couple of years.
I don't like the commentary by boring John Rawling and his effeminate-sounding partner on allegedly. If Mr Alledgedly were a wiser man, he'd replace the dull-sounding Rawling with someone better. The studio commentators (Bunce etc.) are okay though.

Can you subscribe to allegedly if you live in the US?

It's not an awful service but it has failed to deliver on it's promise, and although we shouldn't say it, it is easy to stream the channel and the fights end up online soon enough.
Might be worth looking into boxingraise if you want to try a different subscription style service. It's a Japanese online service (available worldwide) at a price of 980 yen a month (about £8) that has one or two live shows from Japan a month, and a back catalogue of on deman shows, with about 20 currently available. These bouts haven't been streamable and are a pain in the backside to find online.
Of course if you have no interest at all in the Japanese scene then ignore that just thought it was mentioning for those who are perhaps interested.
