will fury fight again on top level?
will fury fight again on top level?
my guess is no. if you have this kind of issue
at your first appearance on top level, you are
a too troubled man for the job.

Yes, he will.man wrote:will fury fight again on top level?

Other than being a ducker there isn't much wrong with Fury.
Re: will fury fight again on top level?
Possibly, won't be against Vlad though. I've said all along he doesn't fancy the rematch
Re: will fury fight again on top level?
..he's still young to rebound..

rebound from what? This Fury BS is bizarre, boxing fans are the most cynical sports fans going, everyone throwing mud at everyone else with regards to PEDs, draining, testing, politics and ducking, yet Fury ducks this rematch because the tabloids hurt his feelings and everyones like "Get well soon"
Re: will fury fight again on top level?
He'll wait till Wlad retires to avoid the rematch.

I'd say, yes. He could do but by the time he comes back from a hefty ban, he'll be about the size of Yokozuna, probably 30+ stone.
Sure he'll be stripped very fast.

Re: will fury fight again on top level?
If this story is true, then he will be banned for a couple of years & that would be very detrimental to someone like Fury who really has to punish himself to get into shape.
He might come back, but he probably won't hit the same heights again.

I don't really care, but if I had to guess I'd say yes.

It would be wholly unrealistic to expect anyone to care about every single human being on Earth.revor wrote:It's the life of a fellow human being, you SHOULD care.gilgamesh wrote:I don't really care, but if I had to guess I'd say yes.
Re: will fury fight again on top level?
I don't think much of Tyson Fury as a man. The "Women belong in the kitchen or on their back in the bedroom" comment doesn't exactly endear me to the guy. Most of his personal beliefs I find reprehensible, and aside from that I find him boring as hell as a Boxer. So no I don't care if he returns or not, and I don't care that you think I SHOULD care either.revor wrote:It's the life of a fellow human being, you SHOULD care.gilgamesh wrote:I don't really care, but if I had to guess I'd say yes.
Doesn't matter anyway. He'll be back. They all come back.
Re: will fury fight again on top level?
..I believe we are confusing two things here: Fury as a human being and Fury as a boxer...in the first case I wish him prompt recovery, in the second I don't give a damn if he comes back or not...as I said earlier I think he will...
Re: will fury fight again on top level?
Recovery from what? Cocaine use? Sounds like he's just living the high life with the money he made to me. Of course with a lot of cocaine use the money won't last.greg wrote:..I believe we are confusing two things here: Fury as a human being and Fury as a boxer...in the first case I wish him prompt recovery, in the second I don't give a damn if he comes back or not...as I said earlier I think he will...
I have sympathy for Mental Health issues, but in Fury's case I'm not sure if all that stuff isn't just a fabrication.

I mean yeah he's a strange acting dude, but he never seemed too upset about it.greg wrote:...I've been considering him a mental case all along, whatever...gilgamesh wrote:Recovery from what? Re: will fury fight again on top level?
Nothing has happened to Fury that would end a boxer's prime. This thread is an idiotic overreaction.

weight championship and showed up with
disinterest and terribly out of shape a few
months later followed by cancelling his first
defences and rumours of mental breakdown
plus drug abuse.
what happened to him was he reached his
dream and doesn't know what to do with it.
he will come back when he needs the money,
definitely not because he loves boxing.
Re: will fury fight again on top level?
I wrote an article about the cancellation of the Klitschko vs. Fury rematch

I think he will and I really hope he does.
Re: will fury fight again on top level?
I never rated Fury very high. Still amazed he beat Klitchko in what one could say was a shell of the former champion.

Exactly he got what he wanted and lost the hunger. I know my experience obviously isn't nearly the level of fury but when I fought amateur before my first fight I trained hard and really wanted the win in my first fight more than anything. I ended up winning but then after that first fight I was just like ehh, and lost that hunger, thought it would come easily afterwards did pull out of a couple fights won't even lie just because I knew my mind wasn't there.man wrote:you must be kidding. he won the lineal heavyLackeos wrote:Nothing has happened to Fury that would end a boxer's prime. Re: will fury fight again on top level?
Per Fury's twitter account this morning, he's retired. I guess Dark Destroyer can finally strip him of his imaginary linear championship.

Carry on, you're only showing how little you know about the sport.zorndeslammes wrote:Per Fury's twitter account this morning, he's retired. I guess Dark Destroyer can finally strip him of his imaginary linear championship.
