Pleased for Cleverly but I think this WBA 'regular' title just about sums him up. I can't see him mixing with the top guys at LHW. The weakest proper champ is Stevenson and I'd strongly fancy Stevenson to stop Nathan. He's just so easy to hit. Good night tonight but a rematch and/or some soft defences is about as good as it'll get for him.

Wouldn't they likely have a rematch clause in the contract? Cleverly was a voluntary wasn't he?

Rematch hopefully
This

Braehmer is a strange type of boxer not massive but good defence, decent chin (not sure he's been in with a top banger) and he's very punch accurate

I'm happy for Nathan but he was very lucky there, Braehmer was winning rounds there although it was close. The 5th was difficult to call.

A rematch is surely the best option for all concerned. Bit disappointing really was just getting going

I must say that Cleve surprised me positivelly, it was a quite good match. It's a shame because of the injury.

I worry for Clev, he looks like a walking KO waiting to happen...

I feel a bit sorry for Braehmer - I usually can't stand watching him, but the one time he puts on a positive performance in an entertaining fight and he gets injured.

Pleased for Clev but annoyed as it scuppered my bet. Had Clev to win on points at 10/3. I thought that was looking good.

Ya, it's a secondary strap, but after some rough moments in his career I can see why Clev is so happy. He's not on the same plane as Kov, Ward, or Stevenson, but this win puts him right back in the mix at the next level.

I think he was starting to break Jurgen's spirit in there and would've finished the stronger of the two had it continued. I also urge people to rewatch the 6th without commentary, as I thought it was clear that Braehmer was starting to wilt.

Why not?

It would be a huge win for Cleverly. Hopkins is a legend.

Don't you reckon Braehmer is gonna have a rematch clause in the contract? Obviously he might not fancy a rematch though.

Hopkins doesn't float my boat for obvious reasons, but I respect him

Hasn't he retired, when is his next fight?
