Same! I'm usually the one that tells all my mates the boxing news! I thought 'how can this be' but he's just a fanny!

Could happen, big money fight, I'd bank on Joshua to win, Haye would be dangerous early on, but if Joshua landed a few big ones, Haye wouldn't last long.

Haye says he's fighting dec 10 - Hearn said Joshua could fight then. I think Haye takes Joshua out in 3. He won't miss him.

It's inevitable, as long as the both keep winning. Don't you think it's a stadium fight?

He won't get near him more like.

Joshua has significant reach and height advantages, the only times Haye faced a bigger man, in Valuev, he ran like a thief, and Valuev can't punch for toffee, he ran all night long from Wlad.

I don't think Haye would do well at all, he'd be very wary indeed of Joshua's power, all Joshua need do it keep Haye on the end of his jab and other long punches. I think that Haye would need to get inside it early, because he'll get busted up quickly by Joshua, it's not like Haye has a best of chins either.

Funny, I don't remember Haye 'running' from Klitschko. I don't remember him doing much of anything but definitely not running.

He just got outboxed by a bigger, better, but cautious, boxer.

Haye would be mad to stand there and try to outgun a much bigger man, of course he would 'run', it's the smartest tactic. What is he supposed to do?

AJ does not have the foot speed for Haye even at 85% his best. He would eventually eat a Haymaker, and only then we will know what he is made of. Judging by his reaction to Whyte landing I suspect a clean Haymaker would scramble his brain, and we know what would then follow.

They should bill this................. "First to Land"....and have a big picture of Apollo 11 on the poster :D

Totally get that rational. I just think Hye is good enough still, to land a right on Joshua's chin early. Josh will likely unravel. AJ hasn't seen speed like Hayes even at this age

Exactly the same - casual mate txted me 'Joshua is fighting Haye' (later discovered on Facebook)

I was expecting a massive news headline etc but nothing

However Hayes Twitter was intriguing about 10th December when I checked

I had a look at that as well mate. Dunno what to make of it? I still think it'll be Briggs but the way Haye was talking was as if he's got someone confirmed and Briggs was still giving it his 'fight me' 'lets go champ' patter so who knows......

There was a video doing the rounds on facebook of AJ supposedly saying the fight with Haye is on that date but when you click on the video it makes really loud porn noises. I suspect that's what he's seen

Ha ha my mate was in a play gym with his kids and saw it on Facebook, the video is AJ talking to camera but the sound is low so you turn it up full whack and then the sound goes louder and changes to a woman screaming in pleasure !

Lets just say 'not engaging' then. He did ahite all let's be honest. Reminded me of the 'silent contract, business from teddy atlas.

It was only marginally better than the fury fight.

Not engaging is a good way of putting it.

After all his talk it was very disappointing. But He didn't run.
