He had a really great season - shame he wasn't in the MDT but he's done more than enough otherwise to call himself Fighter of the Season over Holyfield and Calzaghe (a distant third) to me.

Roy Jones had a very nice above average run this season. He's more than mediocre, and rose above the median performance on a plurality of occasions.

He left the "so so" fighters in the dust, and set the bar on how to become very nearly recognizable, bordering on quasi memorable, beyond just here or there, or time and again.

King Roy Jones Jr:

Accolades:
Won The Super Six.
Was ranked The Number One for 8 weeks: (weeks 27-31, 37-38 & 40)
Finished the season with all four World Titles.

Belts:
x3 time WBA World Champion: (week 7 - original Champion, 13 & 40)
x2 time WBC World Champion: (weeks 22, 40)
x2 time IBF World Champion: (weeks 28, 40)
x1 time WBO World Champion: (week 40)
x2 time Lonsdale Champion: (weeks 28, 40)

- Never ranked low enough to contest the minor titles which is undoubtedly a further testament to Roy's legacy.

Apologies for the incomplete record. Spent ages updating it about a week ago, but it didn't save. Couldn't be arsed doing it again!

Am I allowed to vote on my own fighter? If so, it's a yes from me.

I gotta give it to Roy. He had a few stunning upset losses, but he came through in the final stretch of the season with Flying Colors winning the Super 6 more than making up for the few shortcomings he experienced throughout the season.

The vote is now closed

The UNANIMOUS vote is YES, was there ever an doubt?

Congratulations to Mr Kevo and Roy Jones Jr.

WELCOME TO THE HALL OF FAME!!! (Mr Kevo, I realize that you know this place well, could you show King Roy about the place?
It would save us a few quid on hiring a tour guide)
