A tremendous 10 round encounter. I was worried it would be a hyped up mismatch - in fact convinced it would be....29yrs old vs 20yr old with 11-0(7) against “losing” opponents....of course you never know....the same guy could be the next Floyd Mayweather....As it happened the young Japanese was a lion, what a brave guy, shellacked Rex a few times and I thought a sympathetic corner might have saved him for another day after 5 or 6, but these guys came to win!
Tremendous spectacle between 2 warriors with maximum respect shown between the pair throughout.
I thought last time that Rex wasn’t all that. The top brass will have him...more polished fighters, however, tonight I thought he looked 100% better than last time - has no quit in him.
