Who's this Haye bloke? I'd likely pick Cornish only because Carman won't be in shape. He's backed out of two Canadian title defences against poor opponents and won't be ready. Carman can punch some but has poor boxing skills. He got his head handed to him by a cruiserweight not so long ago [he did knock the other guy out in a rematch in 1 round.]

Why would anyone want to see that? I prefere to see Briggs Cornish actually.

If the public demand it then I am sure Haye will oblige and make the fight.

I don't know about you guys but I can't walk down the street without somebody stopping me to ask when Haye is going to take on Cornish.
It's the exact same over my way! The pubs are awash with talk of Haye/Cornish. I can't go for a pint of milk without hearing about it. There were two old ladies arguing at the bus stop the other day about it! Haye/Cornish fever is an epidemic!
Apparently a lot of the violence at Euro 2016 has stemmed from rival supporters arguing about who would win in a Haye-Cornish clash.

Yeah I heard the Russians are very pro Cornish. They don't like it if anyone says a word against him. Apparently someone in the crowd at the England Russia game was wearing a t-shirt depicting Haye holding up big Gaz's severed head and that set them off!

I like Gary and would really like to see him pull this off.

But I have very much enjoyed where this thread has gone.

Carmen was for me, by distance, the highest ranked, lowest skilled heavyweight by miles. For the rankings, Cornish is very lucky if he's allowed to fight Carmen.

I hadn't heard much about this fight since the thread was posted, but I was looking over Cornish's record and the bout is listed as happening three weeks from now in Edingburgh

I find this one pretty interesting....Cornish has the better skills, but Carmen is the bigger punch. Both have been down a few times and Carmen in particular has been in some wars, coming through hell to beat Eric Martel. Anyone know if it's being televised and/or streamed?

Is this not on the Taylor Ryan undercard? Taylor Ryan is on channel 5 so it should be on there beforehand or maybe they'll show the undercard on Spike again?

Sounds like it may get TV coverage then.

I'm looking forward to that card

Can't remember it word for word but he didn't come across the most humble or down to earth of guys considering he hadn't actually done anything of note to merit recieving an award.
Yeah that's pretty poor.
So the best HW in his country can't have a bit of swagger. Jees.

Gary signed to MGM Scotland and is fighting next month. Opponent TBA. Hopefully someone decent but the chances of that are getting slimmer by the day unfortunately.

MGM/MTK really need to start putting better matchups together. People quickly become bored of cheerleader bouts.
