Not ruling out Canelo from a fair win(D/TKO) over GGG but if Golovkin batters Canelo and the fight goes 12 rds, will the judges give the win to GGG ?
Venue: Las Vegas.
I'm just thinking Golovkin may be fadding and have maybe 1 year left at this level.
Let's say GGGvsCanelo happens in 2017 @160 lbs and the fight goes 12 rounds

One judge scored the Mayweather fight a draw. Of course GGG will get robbed.

Yeah, that MD particularly came into my mind. GGG would have to KTFO Canelo to win that fight.tigermoth87 wrote:One judge scored the Mayweather fight a draw. Of course GGG will get robbed.

Golovkin would need to be clearly dominant to get a decision against Canelo.

Golovkin knows he can't let that fight go 12 rounds, because any possible chance of a robbery will come to fruition if judges are needed. They will try to steal it guaranteed.

Canelo may be very hard to TKO, even for a savage puncher like Golovkin, also Canelo has pretty damn good combos and boxing skills.

Let's say a meteor hits the Earth in early 2017 and wipes out half the population of the Middle East.

I’m getting bored of conspiracy theorists making excuses favourite fighter before the events take place, as if they’re trying to cover all bases to cover their own backs.apollo creed wrote:Let's say GGGvsCanelo happens in 2017 @160 lbs and the fight goes 12 rounds

Let’s just be clear:
• If Golovkin dominates Canelo, the Kazakh will be awarded the decision victory
• If Canelo dominates Golovkin, the Mexican will be awarded the decision victory
• It’s feasible that any 50-50 type close rounds may be awarded to Canelo if the judges are influenced by the pro-Mexican crowd noise (assuming the fight takes place in Texas or Las Vegas)
• Bribery, corruption and racism will play no part in influencing the judges’ scorecards for the GGG-Canelo fight. Simply put, there will be no robbery!

Two entirely different levels. Even though he's a welter, Brook was probably the best of them if not top 3. While Smith is surely a 154lber, he isn't that good at all. He's like a bigger poor version of Robert Guerrero. I could see his punches coming in slow motion.

Canelo's face would be ripped to shreds, and there'd be no doubt who won the fight. They couldn't take it away from Golovkin.
