How are promoters/fighters/network getting paid then if there is no exact numbers ?SaadOffTheDeck wrote:The cable and satellite providers count them, they just don't care past their 50% cut and the numbers come in from different spots all over the country. Direct Tv and Comcast certainly couldn't care less about each others numbers. That's why a true figure is hard to report.
They get paid by the carriers exactly on those buys. That doesn't mean Comcast and their competitors would bother to tally it all up for everyone. like all business those checks can come at different times from dozens and dozens of different companies. So the promoter can say whatever they want, it's not like they're getting that money days later when they speculate buys.boxing_rocks wrote:How are promoters/fighters/network getting paid then if there is no exact numbers ?SaadOffTheDeck wrote:The cable and satellite providers count them, they just don't care past their 50% cut and the numbers come in from different spots all over the country.
