I have to do some debating. Calzaghe has 2 no's, but fought Holyfield to two draws. His resume is also better overall. Yes, a few more losses, but he's fought the better overall opponents. Just looking at what Holfield has listed, resume wise, it's not really impressive until the end there with Ward and Jones wins. It looks like a lot of cpu or mid level tier opponents....Only one win in the super Six.......

To me, him and Calzaghe are equals. Honestly, I don't think either should be in, both just miss. If Holyfield gets in, I don't see how Joe doesn't. Will debate on my votes...

I vote no. Looking at the record that is updated, there really is a lack of big fights and wins. One win in the super six also stands out. Good season though, just not HOF worthy.

Y'know I was thinking the same thing. But he was one of the better fighters this season, no doubt about that. It's a tough call...

I thought Benny Leonard should have made it last year and it feels (without doing any research) that Holyfield had an approximately similar season this time. So I'd go for yes again but I can see why some would see it differently.

I'm gonna be perfectly honest, I thought about it a few times over the last couple of days and I'm rating RJJ at the number one this season.

So I'm saying NO to Evander. Although I respect him a helluva lot.
