Ryan Burnett vs Ryan Farrag

Post by handsofstone »

Burnett making the 1st defence of his British bantamweight title on the Bellew card on Saturday, styles could make this fight of the night,Burnett seems to have changed his style since teaming up with Adam Booth,he isn't as aggressive or exciting these days but he does look more polished and quite content to stick to a gameplan and win on the cards,Farrag still rebuilding after losing his European title to Guerfi a few months ago when he was bulldozed out of there in 3 rounds

I think Farrag's style is made for Burnett and I can see Burnett getting back to stoppage wins here,Faragg is a great little fighter too but I think Burnett wins inside the distance

Farrag has a good chance here for me. Burnett needs to prove himself, hasn't looked great in recent fights. The odds are shocking.

from what I here Burnett is an absolute world beater in the gym and regularly gets the better of Mitchell Smith and others.

I think he will look a million dollars Saturday night and stop Farrag.

I think Burnett will come good and stop Farrag between 4-6.

Not sure. Despite Adam Booth saying Burnett would be world champion in a few fights I haven't been impressed. He carried a shot Jason Booth in a snooze fest ( Farrag battered Booth about a year earlier) he also carried a guy on the Frampton undercard in a snooze fest after hurting the guy early.

He needs to look good here. Hearn had hopes to bring him to Belfast and build him but he needs good performances.

Said it at the time this fight should have been main support to Frampton Quigg for Farrags European title to give Burnett a chance to impress people who would go to any show in Belfast.
