I don't quite get the Campbell hype wagon is he any good ? The performances i have watched have been medi-ocre under the boxrec rankings he sits under Flanagan and Crolla in 3rd (British) and above Scott Cardle that baffles me

Going for a Matthews win by Decision

I'd fancy Campbell to beat Cardle if they ever meet.

Campbell will comfortably outbox Derry and possibly even stop him in the 8th or 9th I reckon. No doubt that Derry could hurt him if he lands clean but think its a difficult fight for him at this stage.

Would be amusing to see another golden boy derailed.
I don't understand why people want to see people fail so bad? Luke seems a nice guy, you get hints of some good skills. Don't you want boxers to progress and setup entertaining and competitive fights?

There's so many negative views and comments about boxing recently.

Sharp? I think against Mendy and Mendez he looked anything but sharp, I can see him being hurt and not liking things not going his own way I think its Derry - Crolla 1 all over again

I think it is more the natural urge to support the underdog - I don't have any allegiance to either boxer but will be rooting for Matthews for this reason (not for anything negative against Campbell).

Campbell was sharp and classy stopping Sykes.

He was just too sharp and fresh that night - vs a fighter with many hard miles - and could be more of the same.

Derry's been one hell of a warrior but you'd think it'd be Campbell's time.

But I'm past being surprised when Matthews gets the result (often in a great fight) - but there'll come the time when it's not happening for him anymore. Wish him all the best though.

I've always liked Derry and would be happy if he won but I can't really see past a Campbell stoppage. There is always the chance that Mathews dredges up a big punch for a surprise win; however I think this fight is more about one last decent payday...

I think this is a great match up at a great time for both guys,Derry was very decent against Flanagan, was never gonna win but surprisingly for me was the one trying to box as opposed to Terry who chose to fight ugly ,he's definitely been improving with age and his experience is second to none, with his power and heart he's a live dog for sure,Campbell was boring as hell against Mendez despite winning clearly,Argenis apparently got injured after scoring the knockdown so couldn't press Luke

Styles do make fights though and although I'm not Campbell's biggest fan I think he'll look good and get the plaudits he's not had since beating Coyle,Mathews might have his moments but I think Campbell will be too cagey to allow him any chances

Might be a bore though

A good match this, think I will go for Luke. He should be dealing with a well worn Derry at this time.

Good performance from Campbell and more importantly a big confidence builder for him. That win last night will do him the world of good. Now he can go back and do more work with Rubio with a different mindset. I'd like to see him in for the British then hopefully a rematch with Mendy can be made.
