Do you have any other information, such as the name of his manager and trainer? Height? Some more biographical information to include in his Wiki bio? How about a photo of him during his fighting days?

Re: Additionl boxingn history of Gene Fowler
I was a Police Officer serving at Aldershot Late 1950.s/1960.s. I had the great pleasure of knowing Gene there. He was a true gentleman you could say a true gentle man. I know that he was doing a coal delivery round Aldershot and he used to pick up a sack in each hand he said he did it to keep fit!!! I remember to that he used to work as a bouncer at the Central Hall? Just an incident I will always remember - because it was so funny at the time. One night we received a call of a large 'punch-up' at the hall - nothing unusual as there was quite often 'problems' there. When we arrived there was Gene standing in he middle of various injured people on the ground. When I got to him he was holding a torn shirt front with a very worried look on his face. Then he said the classic words I will always remember " My wife will kill me when I get home"
I remember he was best man to one of our colleagues. It really was a pleasure to have known him
