BJ Flores simply was not a credible opponent for a world champion.
The after fight happenings were cringeworthy and more suitable to the WWE.
Pathetic !

He doesn't though really. I'm pretty they were friends some years back.

Smashing fight,Flores started off well,he found it easy to hit Bellew, once he got put down though it all went downhill fast,Tony was wild as hell but I've gotta admit he's hitting hard at cruiserweight, fun fight and big up to Bellew for ending things early, impressive

Best interview ever BTW :yay:

ian john fuckup lewis ruined it for me. the guy is so inept to call a shot so low its bang on the dick. Cost Flores the knock down which he didnt recover from. Shades of Floyd-Gatti.

The main event was poor, Flores was out of his depth. That said I enjoyed the Dodd, Burnett / Farrag and Matthews / Campbell fights.

Am I alone in thinking that the Main events are taking too long to start from 'away' fighters entrance to the first bell.

Mike Goodall is the whip at most matchroom shows, maybe he has his suit with him in case.

Once Haye knocks him out they will be cuddling, both saying the build up was all hype just to sell the fight abd they've always been friends.

Bellew don't fancy fighting Uysk then?

It all depends on whether Uysk steps towards him

Can't believe people are complaining about that fight. Sure it was low on quality, but you've got to enjoy a slugfest...

I really enjoyed the main event, thought that Bellew acquitted himself well. Can't believe the referee missed the most obvious low blow though. Had it been any lower he'd have gone right through his legs, and Flores just never recovered. Had he not hit that low shot, think it would have been same outcome, maybe a few rounds later.

Was in stitches with all the banter afterwards. Bellew was saying what we were all thinking. Haye has been conning the public since his comeback, but even before that. Haye may have the tools to be a great heavyweight, but he's just a con-artist. The only fight he's actually fought a legitimate fighter was Klitchko, and look how that worked out.

Generally don't like Bellew, but at least he shows a bit of passion. Haye just disappears at 6 months at a time making all kinds of claims. He's said his next fight would all please the public, but he said that about the Cobra. Just blatant lies.
