Any mention of a venue? Could be the smartest move made in Joshua's career so far.

Fury beat Wlad to become the man, Fury not available so if Joshua can beat the same Wlad, in better style, then in a weird way he can lay claim to being the man.

All depends if Wlad has much left. He looked poor in his last two fights and you don't improve at his age.

Don't think klitschko has declined that much to see Joshua troubling him. Klitschko stops him before the 8th

I agree, Joshua's style is tailor made for Vlad. Late stoppage I predict.

Wlad stops him in 8 rounds.

There's a big difference between knocking out Gary Cornish and Brezeale and stepping in with Wlad. Fury at least had fought some fringe contenders like Chisora, Hammer and Cunningham first.

Too big a step up for AJ.

Shades of Bruno v Witherspoon, a faded Klit will still know too much for Joshua

It's looking more and more likely now! Didn't see it coming off but I'm starting to believe! Massive gamble for AJ and Sky/Hearn. Kilt may or may not be past it who knows? Going by his last two performances you'd have to give AJ a shot but even if he is past it big Wlad is still miles ahead of the dross AJ has been fighting. Massive jump in class and it could easily backfire. These are the fights we want to see though so fingers crossed it goes ahead.

Klitschko has all the movement of Frankenstein's creature, pre-animation. Joshua has been glimpsed in Tuan Jim's crystal ball smashing straight through the Ukrainian bore in 1 or 2 rounds. He then wishes the attendant audience a very humble Christmas.

IMO wlad wins this easy AJ is too stiff and even Whyte gave him problems.
Fury messed Wlad up by being very unorthodox even by his standards where as AJ is very normal but does everything well.
I cant see Wlad having to many problems really grab punch grab punch

Joshua carries enough speed and power to stop Wlad. His best bet is to come out firing

Wlad will be gunshy, which will bring the shark out in Joshua, who is deadly if he smells blood in the water. AJ by KO, before 9 rounds are up, IMO.

He'll want to smash Wlad. I imagine if the Fury fight hadn't happened then the approach might have been different but he'll want clear air between the levels of their performance.

It'll be hard for Wlad not to start pensive and gun-shy, he's been like it for too many years. If Joshua comes out all guns blazing then I think Haye is right and Wlad will be doing all he can to tie him up. Joshua has good reach and likes to throw as soon as he is in range means Wlad might have to fight fire with fire. Could actually be an entertaining Wlad fight?!?

I think this is a 50/50 fight. I don't think AJ is ready for it if I'm honest. He should have been given rounds earlier in his career, like Lennox did against Ossie Ocassio and Dan Murphy. AJ should have fought someone like Zack Page early in his career.

If Wladimir hasn't "gone" he'll beat Joshua. Joshua isn't as skilled as Fury and doesn't have those subtle movements that stopped Wlad throwing when Fury beat him.

Wlad either wide points or KO depending on Joshua's chin.

................ Unless he's shot - and that could happen overnight at his age.

I hope Joshua wins. I respect Wlad, but he is old and far from the most exciting fighter, and Joshua is young and his fights are always spectecular. I aslo think Joshua is very telented/gifted fighter, but while Wald is clearly past his prime, Anthony is still far from reaching his one. He is too unexperienced, and I'm afraid that stepping up 3 classes above from might be too much even for such a telented and powerful guy. Once again, Wlad is clearly past his prime, but even this version of Wald is 1000 times better than Whyte, Martin or Brezeale. Plus Joshua doesn't have Fury's footwork, his style is tailor made for Wlad. I think Klitschko will catch Joshua early with a left hook and knock him out. I really hope my prediction is wrong though.
