Saw the thread title and felt my anger rise, but then I see it is just promoter BS. Don't worry, he knows the truth but is just doing his job and to be honest, I would respect him less if he was honest as that would make him a bad businessman and not working in the fighters best interests.

But does he match him for chin, hate has taken some big shots from heavyweights and not gone down where as the most dangerous cruiserweight to have ever roamed the earth has been out down by light heavyweights.

Can they just make this fight for Dec 10, let the wlad v am build take the shine and end this farce.

Hate will destroy bellew, even Apollo Creed's boy gave him trouble.

But.. But... Lolenga Mock had Haye all over the place back in 1872 and he ended up fighting as a SUPER MIDDLE WEIGHT!!!!

Etc.

Actually, Mock had fought as a Super Middle before the Haye bout, he moved up for the fight, it was one of only two bouts above the 175 limit, and he only weighed 183 on the night.

Haye's not got a great chin, he's barely been clipped at heavyweight, mainly due to the fact that he fights very cautiously against anyone with a punch.

I'd say that getting hit even not very often by valuev, wlad who was landing his jab on haye with ease will punch harder than anyone belles has been in with.

I can't see any way bellew wins this fight unless it is a competition for who talks the most poo in the build up

For all his size, Valuev wasn't a puncher, he was as slow as shite through a funnel and therefore generated very little force in his shots.

Valuev barely landed a glove on Haye, Wlad either.

However, I agree, Bellew hasn't a hope in hell, he'll get absolutely mullered, and he knows it, he's just cashing out before he gets found out in his own weight division.

Actually James, all joking aside, I haven't watched the Mock fight in a while but I'm pretty sure Mock absolutely spangles Haye, who can barely get up off the canvas to beat the count and probably would have been stopped by say, Howard Foster, if he'd been the away fighter. It certainly is the best evidence out there to substantiate claims of Haye's shaky chin, and Mock was indeed a much smaller fighter and also not known as a puncher if I am correct?

if I were a certain Essex snake oil salesman, I'd have that fight all over Twitter, or wherever it is casual mongs hang out.

Indeed, I was at that fight live, right at ringside, I remember Haye went down, tried to get up at 4, and then had to take a knee, and looked extremely rubber legged, I think it was quite near the end of the round as I recall, so he had time to recover, but his eyes looked glassy as hell.

Wasn't Haye dropped by temple shots against Mock & Mormeck?

Either way, he looked stronger once he moved up. Wlad hit him with some meaty shots, not often, but he did land. I reckon he probably hits a tiny bit harder than Bellew.

And Boomber has been dropped by:

Ilunga Makabu
Adonis Stevenson
Ovill McKenzie x2
Bob Ajisafe
Jevgenijs Andrejevs (I think this was a body-shot)

Was all over the place against Brudov as well. He doesn't have the edge in durability, speed, power, or skill.

Bellew seems to look for confidence boosts in the most tedious of places, almost like he is clutching at straws.

He started by mentioning the fact the he and Haye are roughly the same height, then began banging on about a sparring session that happened years ago where he supposedly got the better of him.

I remember before the Stevenson fight he was going on about the fact that Stevenson was once KOd by a journeyman (neglecting to mention the fact that said journeyman was Darnell Boone, who also dropped Ward and Kovalev).

It did him no good against Stevenson and it will do him no good against Haye.

I don't understand why anyone would like to pay for this fight. Daffy should man up and fight against Briggs, like he promised.

Bellew got battered by Stevenson who spent most of his career as a super middleweight.
