PS: Ortiz being a doper, I actually should exclude him too..
Do you think Povetkin should be allowed to fight Wilder for the WBC belt?
Ofcourse, Povetkin never broke a single rule at all? Why shouldn't he be allowed?
Povetkin would actually be quite a good opponent for AJ right now.

He's going to do what everyone* else in boxing is doing 4Q 2016,
he'll fight a bum, and say that he'll fight a big opponent in 2017.

*Except Ward/Kovalev ... Loma/Walters ... thanks :box:

That was one of the most disgraceful scorecards I have ever seen. I like Chisora, and wanted him to win, and with the best will in the world I gave him two rounds. Pulev is not a puncher and Del still has a decent chin. It was a one sided fight and we'll have to assume you didn't watch it if you're going to call it a legit split decision.
Mate Chisora came to fight. He banged Pulevs body relentlessly throughout the fight to the end bell. He did better than two rounds, constantly keeping pressure. His defence wasn't to bad early on. Pulev came back into the fight with very strong crisp punches that hurt Chisora. Chisora never hurt pulev but made him work, brought the fight to him and had a good game plan, shame he doesn't have much power and runs out of gas. It was a good fight and surprising performance by Chisora, hes not shot yet. He did better than two rounds. Close fight from what looked like a lazy Pulev or a confused Pulev who's underestimated Chisora.

You're a joke to boxing. Anyone that gave that fight as a split decision, is as high as a kite. I would like to see your scorecard, see which rounds you awarded to Chisora. If you was in a generous mood you give 4 rounds to Chisora, if you're being objective, you give 2.

Chisora may well have 'come to fight', but Pulev just out boxed him in every aspect. Not even a close contest.

Parkers camp don't want it though anyway- they want him to fight Ruiz for the vacant WBO title as it's an easier matchup for a world title.
The WBO situation only seems to have appeared in recent weeks, AJ/Hearn could have signed to fight Parker months ago
The original plan was to fight a voluntary in Nov/Dec and then fight his mandatory with Parker in Spring. Parker and his team were aware of this and happy with the arrangements. Parker was going to fight Price on the Joshua undercard, raise his profile in the UK, before a big fight in the new year.

It is only since Fury dropped his belts that the goalposts have moved for everyone. All of a sudden the prospect of fighting Klitchko for the WBA strap became an opportunity too good to miss, and the opportunity for Parker to fight for a world title in his homeland also an opportunity too good to miss. The Parker fight will always be there, and if they both come through with versions of a world title there is a big unification fight in 2017.

I think it was unfortunate how things developed, but I don't think it could be helped. Both fighters saw good opportunities arise, but it looks like it'll fall flat for Joshua.

Just seen an article on sky sports where Coldwell says Price will take the fight. Price is the most deluded boxer out there by miles. There was some nonsense that Coldwell said about fighting Molina: 'he's not the step up Pricey needs, it's about staying active'. I really hope Eddie ignores this crap. Price isn't in any way top 30 and is easily the worst fighter in the IBF top 15.

I'm sure you would like to see my scorecard. But I'm sure you wouldn't know how to read it. You would't understand, boxing not just scored on the fighter you like the best. There's other factors son.

I think that this people are the most probable opponents for Joshua:

1. Price - he wants it (the easiest choice... the money offer will be not that crucial)
2. Parker - still mandatory (he can take the fight if bout against Ruiz not happen)
3. Heye - I want to believe that his fight is possible, but Haye will want a lot of money!
4. Klitschko - still possible if all the belts are on the line :)

Pulev already said that he will not fight for the heavyweight world championship this year.

Alright I'll put it out there. Obviously the majority don't agree. I'm not going to re-watch the fight so this is from memory. Ok I had Chisora coming out strong putting the pressure on. He did well the first 3 rounds or so slipping punches and closing the gap, constantly putting the pressure and getting into the body. Thats until he got tired and his head movement stopped. Pulev just looked like he was coasting, not doing much at all. As Chisora got more tired, Pulev started picking him off with very nice, clean one twos but that was it, Chisora kept coming and whacking him to the body. Round 9 or so Pulev rocked him, rocked him maybe a couple times but couldn't finish him off. Chisora kept applying pressure, disrupting his rhythm. He made it difficult for Pulev. Now it sounds like i have Chisora winning. I don't. Maybe 3 to 5 rounds I would give Chisora, but....it was competitive, Chisora was in it, bringing the fight to Pulev, scoring punches to the body. It wasn't a Pulev domination. It was a good fight. Pulev underestimated him.

I wasn't arguing, I was just requesting to see his scorecard. I understand that scoring fights is subjective, but we're not talking about a close fight with one round in it. We're talking about a fairly one sided fight.

The video is in Bulgarian. He is just saying that he will probably defend the European title this year, and that he needs more time for preparation to fight for the world championship. He said that he will attack the world titles next year.

If you said that Chisora won 3 rounds, I doubt many would really argue with your stance. There's argument for anything between 1-4 rounds to be awarded to Chisora. You positioned it that Chisora was 'relentless' with his body shots and supported the notion that Chisora lost in a split decision. Whether or not Chisora 'made it difficult' or 'applied pressure' is not sufficient to win rounds. He has to make more scoring shots than Pulev, which in my opinion he did not. He was being regularly peppered by the Pulev jab, which was making things very easy for him. I completely agree that Pulev was coasting. One judge believed that Chisora won more rounds than Pulev did. The guy is an absolute joke.

Well I think that this is about the money.
Now he is not a mandatory and the money offer is not good for him. When he is in a mandatory position (next year) he will get much better mooney offer.

He should defet the title a few times I agree, his next world title shot may be his last (unless he's Arreola v.2).. He went in all guns blazing against Klit and got dropped a few times.
