If Wlad fights Browne, Who Do You Want Joshua To Fight?

Post by keithmoonhangover »

Let's just say that Klitschko, Wilder, Povetkin, Stiverne, Browne, Parker and Ruiz are out.

I would rather see him fight Haye than Pulev. What do you guys want?

He said on IFL it's between Molina, Jennings, Price and Ustinov. I'd prefer Duhaupas to all of those but he's a dangerous sleeper so I doubt he'll even be considered. He also said Haye is out of the question.

Out of those I'd take Ustinov. At least he's big and offers something. But it will blatantly be that undeserving vulture Price. I'd rather he packed it in for the year if that was the case.

They're all just bleh

Jennings is the only one of those who was a solid contender, but he hasn't won in over two years, and is going on almost a year of inactivity following the Ortiz stoppage loss.

Should be Ortiz based off that (just based off the basis he's beaten the best guy on the list) - Hearn won't match those two until he's built Ortiz's profile up significantly however, if he ever does that is.

Jennings and Ustinov aren't even ranked by the IBF. Molina would be a decent test but the biggest seller would be Price.

Oh god. I hope Hearn offers him a shitty deal. It's not like he holds much value as of now. The vast majority of public opinion of him is that he's a useless buffoon with no chin. He's somewhat high risk (due to his power) and very low reward.

Jennings would be the best option. The sky pundits could then size up his performance versus how Ortiz did against Jennings in anticipation of a future encounter between the pair.

Jennings also isn't that high risk in terms of punching power, put up a fairly decent showing against Wlad and beat Both Perez and Spilzka when they were unbeaten. The Price fight has no value imo.

That big tit can piss off! Even Hearn would struggle to sell that to the most gullible of casual! I am now terrified of this fight happening! It makes my stomach churn just thinking of it!

This guy is really pissing me off. Such a delusional fraud. I'll lose a huge amount of respect for Joshua if this fight happens.

He'd arguably be Joshua's best win though.

I think Breazeale would beat Price. He's a big, slow lump with not great boxing skills but he can punch a bit and he's pretty durable going off the Joshua fight.

The Browne camp are now saying that there has not been a deal struck with Wlad

Thompson popped for a medication for high blood pressure after one of the Price fights. That doesn't exactly account for the other Thompson loss but let's not the facts get in the way of a good story

Just seen Price mocking Molina as a potential opponent for Joshua on twitter- he's bloody deluded.

I can't blame Price for chasing AJ hard....if you're going to get knocked out it might as well be for the most money.

This, although I'm sure Price thinks he can knockout AJ. If Whyte can hurt him, why can't price? The answer is, he can, Price can hurt Joshua. He won't like, but it's possible.

Horrible list. Might as well be price. He d struggle to get out of round 2. Far too slow and pondourous to trouble joshua but at least there is the slim chance he does land. The rest you get the feeling will just turn up for the pay day. Had quite a few opponents over the years between joshua and fury etc that come over and dont look like they fancy it from the off. Still say they ve jumped the gun with joshua on ppv. People dont mind paying for good fights but starts to build resentment when its mediocre...which any one of these fights are.

Price would be a pathetic defence. He's never won beyond domestic level

Klitschko losing to Fury is the best thing to happen to the heavyweight division is ten years.

I can't remember there being this much excitement around potential heavyweight matches for so long.
