First thoughts from me are that Calzaghe looks really tight at the weight even by his own standards - hope he looks a lot better when he gets into the ring on Sunday.

Lacey looks in superb shape.

Calzaghe never has much muscle definition. But in those pictures he has a chest like a 10 year old boy! Makes you wonder if he would have more muscle at 175.

Yeah, Calzaghe looks gaunt, whereas Lacy looks in fine fettle. Lacy will be a lot bigger than that come fight night too.

Joe looks ok to me, he doesn't have that hollowed out look in the face that fighters get when they've really dried out. And yes, Lacy looks bang on.

Just seen Boxing News have tipped Lacy points and Macca by KO.

Looks like we're home and dry in terms of the fight coming off now - unless Joe falls down the stairs on the way out of the final press conf

Joe looks well-tight @ the weight, Lacy like a tank who's in great condition and ready for war!

I'm still confident of my prediction of Jeff winning by TKO, round 7!

After fighting Lacy, whatever the out-come, I think we'll see Joe move-up to 175lbs, do you all agree!

I do not know what it is about this fight, but I'm anxious, cannot wait for tomorrow night/early morning, and I'm not even fighting! I wish it was tonight!

It's going to be a massive explosion!

By the way, I think FW looks rather dapper in that Blazer! Wonder if Ricky Hatton will be ringside?

Lacy in great condition, Joe looks really thin but he doesn't use weights in training whereas its obvious Lacy does.

I think people are reading too much into this. The fight is too important to both fighters for them to come in in bad condition and I doubt if an end comes it will be in anyway atributable to fatege. The two guys have different body types, but it is the speed and skill which will count come tommorw night.

I have criticised Joe in the past but the amount of sh1t I have heard yanks spout about this one I dam well hope that Joe sparks him out.

I was at the weigh in this afternoon & the conference yesterday too.

I mentioned to Joe that he looked better than other times where he has really looked ill at weigh ins. To paraphrase he told me that he'd made the weight properly for once. The gaunt hollowed out face is the nowhere to be seen.

What struck me most was how small Jeff's lower body is. That upper body muscle is packed on to a surprisingly small frame. Similar but of course not to the same extent as Klit v Williams - Danny had the big muscles and the extra weight but Vit was a naturally much bigger man.

Joe looks fine as does Lacy - lets get it on

I am going to this fight and to me its taken on more meaning - I have had a gutful to be honest

I will listen to anyone who wants to knock Calzaghe about his sicknote, pulling out of fights rep - fair enough

But some of the stuff written on here recently is wrong bordering on disrespectful.

here is a BRITISH guy (some of you guys forget this) who is a wrold champ and a man to look up to yet some of the shit written is terrible joe calwhoeee etc or "joe breaks his hands in the 2nd lacy breaks his face in the 3rd"

I have never wanted a fighter to win a fight more than I want Joe to win this one and if Joe sparks Lacy or even wins then some people should eat some humble pie on here -will they?? will they F U C K they will say Lacy too green, too inexperienced bla bla bla F U C K I N G bla

If Lacy wins then I will accept the inevitable PISS take with good pride (take note lirva, boxingchAT ETC ETC)

Really guys the amount of brits who slag Joe off we should be ashamed of ourselves

Yes I noticed that, LAcy has a very slight frame, tiny waist, thin ankles and wrists.

Wrong on the second point, Danny is a naturally bigger man than Vitali, who weighed 205 when he was kickboxing and is naturally pretty skinny

What is the shit that we're spouting of that you guys aren't saying in the opposite direction? I guarantee no one has said more off the wall stuff than most others. So to make that statement is pretty dumb, in my eyes.

People are allowed to have differentiated opinions on fights. And seeing thsi fight is basically 55/45 on each side of the Pond, I'd be pleased to say it's not "yanks spotuing about this one", but both sides in general.

To the boxers, they both look in tiptop shape. I reckon they will both weight 12 st 10lbs by fight time.

I accept with two world class bangers it could go either way, but Joes class will ensure he gets good hard counters in with Lacy attacking somewhat recklessly.

In a barnstormer Calzaghe stops Lacy early, maybe even the first.

yes, despite lacy's big muscles he is very much the smaller man. He stated in the past that he can/could have made middleweight and was willing to if a fight with hopkins /taylor was to present itself. I dont think calzaghe looks that bad - most boxers who are big for the weight look he does at weigh-ins. Now scott harrsison - he looks FOOKED at weigh ins!

Doesn't really looked weight drained at his face looks fine suprised Lacy's not the one to be having problems but Joe is taller and probably doesn't lift weights or heavy weights like Lacy does.

Lacy doesn't have big legs,, might sound stupid but i think that might cost him a bit late on in a fight.

Jeff has gone 12, 7, 8 and 2 I believe in his last 4 fights...he's obviously got the gas to go a full fight....especially since the 12 rounder was his worst of the bunch.

Calzaghe will most certainly weight more than 12st 10lbs come fight time; in a recent interview with Boxing Monthly, Enzo Calzaghe stated Joe is at least 12st 13lbs when he enters the ring.

I think Calzaghe will have a weight advantage over Lacy come fight time, although you would not think this by looking @ the fighters!

I can't wait for this one, Lacy by TKO7 in absolute, give & take battle!
