Horn made weight - weighed in at 66.35kg.

Mueller came in at 66.7kg.

Horn says he feels exhausted from throwing the extra kilos, but is still confident of winning.

Both fighters will apparently be required to weigh in again on Friday morning and not exceed 71.7kg.

I'd like to know the source for that 4kg overweight claim.
Would be very sloppy training for a bloke who is getting hyped as a possible contender for the WBO Welter title.
Sounds like a Furphy to me.
Horn needs a very decisive win over Mueller to keep himself in the loop.
From what I've seen of the German , he's a plodder with zero footwork.
Horn by KO 4.

I think Horn probably will win in decisive fashion. But I doubt that it will be imperative. So long as he wins he will remain on track.

Horn was saying it himself on a radio interview that he had over 4kgs to drop in two days. Even talking about it on his facebook page.

I haven't thought Horn could win a world title but he's a chance. I know a fight for the title would be against a much tougher opponent but he can fight. All the best to him.

Great fight from Horn tonight. Looked very good.

I hope he fights a legit top 15 opponent next rather than more dross like Mueller. Horn looks decent enough and is winning handily, but it's hard for me to say exactly how well he does against a top opponent when there is such a large gap between that level and the level he's fighting at.

As expected Horn was too strong too smart for the tough but one dimensional Mueller.
Things will get a whole lot tougher for Horn when he steps up to the next level.

38yr old Argentinian Damian Bonelli showed plenty of ticker to go the distance [10rds] against a much bigger Rohan Murdoch.
Tough as old boots.

Had to turn the sound down. USA commentator "The Colonel" could talk under wet concrete.
As usual "Fabulous" Phil Austin was hamming it up for the cameras.
Always gives the impression he's auditioning for a Hollwood role rather than concentrating on refereeing the fights. :OhYes:

I genuinely felt sorry for Bonelli. As expected he was hopelessly outclassed by the impressive Murdoch. But game.

A lot of refs when they give instructions say ''the people are here to see you fight not me referee''. Phil might think that the people are there to see him referee. Prefer Bob Sheridan to Barry Michael and Andy Raymond myself but to each their own.

Thanks for all the updates chaps. I'm a Pommie Wanker living in Florida & ave been on the Jeff Horn Choo Choo Train since he blasted out Colomban (spelling).

As I found out more about his background I became a fan. I also love Australia & some of you pr1cks are ok too

Would be great if he got a title shot but before that he needs to either get a name fighter down to Oz (Brandon Rios or Chris Algieri) or go to the US or UK for a biggish fight.

But if he has to move up to Light Middle then he should get in touch with Liam Smith & create some "beef". A big fight in Liverpool &, if he wins, he'll be known as the bloke who beat the bloke who gave Canelo a decent tussle.

As good as Horn looked last night, and it was his best yet IMO, I too can't help but dread a world title shot.

Watching Mueller fight (I don't know anything of him) I kept wondering if he was truly the world-class opponent required to then get a title shot. Or was he a world-class-ish fighter designed to give the old "good fight to make my boy look good, but not gonna win" fight?

I really hope that Horn can pull off some great success on the world stage in his career, but I still can't see him being good enough yet fighting high-enough caliber fighters yet.

Am I being too critical of him? Maybe, but he's my favourite current aussie boxer who's not making a joke of himself and I don't want to see him rushed into it unprepared like so many before him.

I'd favour Horn over Garcia. Not even joking
