The money will be there, as will a world title. I'm a kiwi and love parker, but he's limited as hell. If Haye fights any of the titlists, it gives him a much higher percentage of the pot if he fights Joshua or Wilder afterwards.

I was going for irony, being that there are people on this thread who seem to be under the impression he announced he had cancer.

I guess it was lost on people.

If you don't like David Haye that's fine, but you really have to want to find negativity to complain about him doing a bit of charity promo.
Obviously he doesn't have nor has he implied that he has cancer, though it's perfectly possible to box after cancer.

If it's a mandatory and it goes to purse bids, Parker gets 75% of the purse as champion. He will no doubt want to agree terms before that happens. It's a PPV fight in this country and will do good business in many other countries. Unbeaten young champion against the hard hitting former champion.

With the amount of fighters who are unavailable, who's left for Haye to fight?
John McDermot?

Don't give David any ideas.

Saying that, he's probably already readied a contract for McDermott to sign! :TU:

He wants to fight a top heavyweight in Joshua or Klitschko, but neither of them want him on their dance card.

IBF and WBO are off the table.
WBA "Super" vs. Klit?
WBA "Regular" vs. Browne?
WBC vs. Wilder?

If he takes any of those options it means he has no interest in fighting Parker as I already knew.

I did see on twitter about a month ago that a fight with him and Wilder had been agreed behind close doors. That will be months away though.

He's got the winner of Parker-Ruiz, Warren got the WBO to order it at the convention last week.

Hughie Fury is the next highest ranked in the WBO. Why didn't FW try and get him involved?

I know, it's outrageous, he should have his beard forcibly shorn, and be forced to eat it on camera, obviously, this would have to be a PPV, and the casuals would lap it up to see whether Haye could overcome his bristly nemesis.
