Marco Huck will defend his IBO cruiserweight title against Dmytro Kucher in Hannover on November 19.

Huck, 31, will put his belt on the line for the first time against the reigning European champion after Derby's Ovill McKenzie was forced to pull out of last month's scheduled fight on short notice due to injury.

Ukrainian Kucher (24-1-1-KO18) knocked out Enzo Maccarinelli in one round in June to win the EBU title and send the Welshman into retirement.

I fought Kucher a few years back to me he was pretty patient no real power just a basic fighter IMO he was nothing great tough but one dementional . The corner they I actually got at the fight stopped fight in my corner between rounds because I hurt my ankle nothing to serious but California did give me a 120 day suspension for a ankle injury lol

This is a really good fight. Idk why boxrec only ranks it with 3 stars. Should be 4 stars imo.

This is probably Kucher's last chance to establish himself in the division, after that Makabu loss.
