Thought it was an absolute masterclass from Taylor,i know Ryan had been inactive but for Josh to do a job on him after only 6 fights was class,he has every punch in the book,head body combinations and his speed,movement and reflexes are phenomenal, I'm glad he looked good I've been telling everyone I know he's the future,I was worried if Ryan rode out the storm we might see a little lull in Taylor's work as he worried about going the distance while Dave started to make it rough but as Josh said he was getting better and upping the pace and the finish was class,after he put Ryan down with the right to the body,Taylor was composed whilst he found the opening

Don't like fly weight, no power so the poor guys getting smashed in the face 45 times a round but chance of a ko - punishment for the sake of punishment. I'm glad the ref stepped in - surely being constantly punch drunk isn't good for the health.

Might be worth watching some of the guys with power...try with Daigo Higa maybe ;)

Guys like Ioka, Casimero and Reveco can all whack.

I'll give it a try. That will probably be better, it just seems due to amount of shots the fly weights land if they don't have power you're watching some poor guys getting punched in the face 200 times

Sort see that happen at every weight though, lets not pretend guys like Cleverly and Calzaghe didn't land shots for fun with little damage. We're just sorta lucky at the moment that we have massive punchers at Heavyweight, Cruiserweight, Light Heavyweight and Middleweight. Plenty of good punchers at the light weights.

I'd avoid Kogawa if you don't like the "hit him a lot" fighters, he's one of my favourites but he can't break an egg. Zoda and Claveras are worth a watch, Arroyo can hit. Strange that att 115 you have Inoue, Ancajas, Arroyo, Srisaket, Gonzalez, Concepcion who are all monster punchers

Really like Higa. 10 wins 10 KOs now. His next opponent is a decent standard but looks like another KO opportunity.

Anyone else see Dempseys dig at Barry. Will he fight outdoors in Vegas. Said it wasn't a dig but blatantly was. Hasn't been a big outdoor Vegas fight in years.

Also what did Clifton do to Barry in fight week this time. He really gets under his skin.

This is why I like small hall shows. Decent atmosphere, and decent action whilst it lasted. Channel 5 are showing the George Groves fight from Wembley Arena. Fighting a fairly routine opponent, it has to be said.

It won't be the same. Channel 5 need to seek out smaller hall shows, with young pre-fame fighters who are hungry for success. It'll give them something different to Uncle Eddie's shows on Sky Sports. All they are are famous names fighting low-risk opponents and selling it to gullible people who are impressed by fame, not quality of fight.
