Has he asked David Haye?
David might be a bit busy in 2017.

How is Haye fitting Briggs, Bellew, Parker and Joshua into his 2017 schedule.
No mention of Haye, as soon as it becomes clear Haye is going to deal with allegedly and do the WBO route, Hearne comes calling him out. Embarrassing.

Have a massive dislike for Wlad, thought he might redeem himself by taking on Joshua but no. Another easy fight in Germany. Hope he gets splattered and retires.
People are still ignoring that Hearn himself said he would not make the fight v Wlad if the other belts weren't on the line.
And now he is saying Wlad is ducking it for the same reason.

I 100% don't want Daffy vs AJ. Let Daffy first proof himself against Briggs, because I see him as a cherrypicking pussy. He only fights divers, unknown prefered. I would have liked it if Briggs fought Thompson last time, if that happened both boxers would have been ranked higher as both "main event" boxers. Sadly Thompson didn't and Briggs won with KO in the first round against a guy that nearly went to distance against the opponent of Daffy.

I have a feeling this wont happen, because the parties wont be able to agree terms. Haye will want a MASSIVE payday to put his belt on the line if he wins a title. Hes making a fortune fighting complete muppets, so he'll want a king's ransom to fight AJ.
Re: Eddie Hearn: "I 100% Want Anthony Joshua vs. David Haye in 2017."
i I Don't BELIEVE A WORD OF IT ,, A j is going to be kept away from anyone wh's fast and can dig .. The problem is Haye has'nt fought anyone still alive in his comeback , so no one really knows what he has in the tank ,, So unless he has a hard fight , to show whats left , theres no way is Eddie going to risk his prize PPV possesion ,, and say what you want When he's confident , Haye can be good, or at least he used too,, and from what we have seen from AJ the world champ in learning process , theres nothing to suggest Haye should'nt be confident .

Yeh ... But the public have been calling for it , this guy may have started of wrong , but its well known in inner circles that , he's returned to devestating form in the gym , ever since he invented the new KO punch ,, It will prove to be just what the public want , you can't kid them any more , the public are very mindful of what they want nowadays ,, and this new fart punch is brilliant ,, ,, See this guy has not only invented it , but perfected it , , what its about , is this ,,, he comes to the middle of the ring , .. he backs off to the ropes and when he's followed ,, he lets of this really silent but deadly fart ,,, AJ has to be careful , cos if he screws his face and goes to wave the smell off , Its Kaboom . he'll get hit with a punch that could stop a donkey ... People know this costs a lot of money to put on , Its all about the boxers making a quid , so it really does have to be PPV ,,, but were also still in negotiations with Vlad and his brother in case he wants a comeback fight , .the_doctor wrote:Worst trilogy ever?ILikeBeer wrote:Anthony Joshua's next opponent.

Also don't rule out Haye , cos i 100% want that one ,, and Price is available , so we have options , Chisora says he would'nt mind a crack , and Whyte wants a return , so its looking good for AJ and the british public , whichever way we go theres at least half a dozen ppv . shows before Tyson comes to get his belts back .
Next week we will have the announcement to make the announcment , of when were having the announcement , and let you know if were gonna take the guy with the fart punch ..

Wlad's fought top opponents for years, defended titles in several countries, and at nearly 41 (will be interesting to see what big Josh is doing at that age) was trying to rematch a guy who just beat him; he's the last active guy in the division who needs to redeem or prove himself.Webbo911 wrote:Completely agree. I think Hearn pulled pulled all the stops to make AJ v Wlad too. The mistake Hearn appears to have made though, is he should probaly have got the WBA involved earlier. It appears his strategy was to get so much momentum going for the fight that the WBA would just roll over and sanction it. So far it doesn't appear to have worked.

And why do UK fans so rarely go after their boxers for not fighting away from home? There's virtually no pressure put on these fighters if they can land home fights(it's more like 'great stuff I'll have to get my ticket' or 'nice work by promoter X getting it over here'), yet boxers based in other countries are regularly criticized if they stay put. It seems quite arrogant and parochial to me...
