I do feel a wee bit sorry for AO....heaps of bad, demoralising injuries that have held him back and the celeb-media circuit seemed to be about him getting off his arse and finding a way to earn and keep his name out there whilst he healed-up.

He's clearly got to have a really good, super-honest think now.

Has the fighting ship sailed and that was really the best/everything I had?

Or am I genuinely fit/fixed and I faced a pretty good guy too early who was better than me on the night; but there's more to come?

He had an eye issue from the first round, couldn't see out of the left eye, Eddie alluded to it in his Kugan interview. Watching it back you can see the eye was gone. I think the corner had no choice in the end.

I just watched the fight for the first time now. I like Cunningham he looks really slick. That said Ogogo looked very amateurish. On a separate note- the Macklin/Coldwell commentary duo was hoorendous. They sounded like they didn't know what they were talking about.

I only caught it round 6 on. Ogogo seemed to hold his head up high with chin in the air. Was that due to eye damage and to be able to see Cunningham or was it a habit from the off?

Just like Tom Stalker, I suspect most were able to see from early on that Agogo was bang average.

If he want's to continue in boxing he'll have to accept his level and not the hype created around him because he won an olympic medal.

The hype surrounding our 2012 olympians has been outrageous.

Stalker and Agogo were sold as potential champions, when they are barely domestic level, Luke Campbell was a future p4p star and multi weight world vhampio, if you listened to Hearn, in reality he may not every lift a strap IMO and Joshua, the one guy that has reached "world class" is being talked up as indestructable when he still has plenty to prove and hasn't actually fought a world class opponent.

All he can do is start over and train hard- try and get some good sparring in between if has the desire to do so

I have to say, his casting himself in reality TV shows, even back when he was an unknown amateur, never sat well with me. Wouldn't surprise me if he abandoned boxing and tried go down the presenting route.

Agreed, he was on the Sky Sports Centre as a boxing analyst, dissecting Brook's performance against Golvokin. Who is this guy to talk about Kell Brook's limitations when he's never done anything? And he's speaking as a professional boxer - yet he hasn't "been there" at the top,nor "done it" against elite-level boxers.

I don't dislike the guy. Just never thought he was that good.
For me, there's no amount of hard work takes this guy to the very top (where the hype said he'd end up)

Ogogo is a 27 year old man, he has never had a job and been a full time boxer all his life.

He probably had 100 amateur fights, won an Olympic bronze and had a dozen pro fights - if he aint ready to face decent domestic opposition after all that then it is unlikely that he ever would be ready.

I don't consider Price to be rushed. What I mean by Ogogo being rushed. He started out pro same time as Joshua, Joshua fought Cornish and Whyte on his 15th pro fight or so, Ogogo would have been there by now, But has only had 11 pro fights so far, he should have had more fights before fighting a southpaw like Cunningham.. So only due to him being injured, is why I believe him being rushed to try and reach the top. Some boxers need time, especially coming off a nasty injury

Exactly. If he was of any substance he would have been able to handle a tough useful type like Cunningham.

Any chance he needs to go up a weight. Looked pretty gassed without working overly hard. Legs look ridiculously slight. Looked pretty fragile in their as well. Hate to see him at the weigh in if thats him fully re hydrated. Think that was the first of me seeing him fight tbf. So could be totally wrong. Think he was on big brother at one point came across as if he thought he was already a bona fida world champion.
