The money is going on Lacy. He is now just 4/6 with most bookmakers, and even 4/7 in a place. You can now get 5/4 on calzaghe, with victor chandlers offering 11/8.

I'm well smugging chuffed with this. This will be my biggest bet in sometime. I took 6/5 on Lacy quite a few weeks back thinking/hoping that the move would be for him, and I can now pick at my leisure some nice odds on Calzaghe. The American firm pinnacle does look to be offering 6/4 or better, but, whilst I'm sure they're legit, I don't know if I want to rist (however small) the whole cross-transatlantic thing.

Anyway, lets just hope it's not a draw otherwise I'mm be 6 foot under by the end of the weekend

Enzo is crazily short at 1/6. 1/5 with vc is still too short. As our resident little arse-licker-cum-betting-nemesis can testify, bet365 offers good value at 4/1 for the Hobson win.

Conway-Kotai tonight interests me too. As I said on the thread about this one, I'll support Conway all the way, but banking on the fact that Kotai was hugely underprepared and underestimated Conway in the first fight, then anything approaching 2/1 seems pretty good.

yeah i thought 7/4 seems like a good bet. I actually saw the odds on kotai
on bet365.com before i made the post on his fight. I've gt exactly the same view that kotai probably underestimated conway and came in underprepared - so fornicate it 150squid on kotai.

Calzaghe on bet365 is 5/4 and im not quite sold on lacy so if kotai comes throo some of the profit mite have to on calzaghe.......

Good odds on hobson but useless for me cos i reckon enzo will do a number on him with some wicked body shots.

Wonder what the round by round betting odds will be? Might stick some money on Calzaghe to win by KO in 1-4, maybe a 5ver on each, would stick more on but I'm brassic lint right now.

Just missed out on 500 nicker with Williams v Tyson, stuck the money on 1-3 instead of 2-4,

I've had a few quid on a Lacy points win at 10/3. I feel that Joe will outbox Lacy for the first 5-6 rounds, but Lacy will come on strong in the later rounds and a couple of 10-8's will get him the decision. Also had some 33/1 on Joe in the 4th incase he isn't as past it as I thought.

I think the American ref is going to be more of a factor seeing as it won't get to the cards for either fighter. But I see Calzaghe as not as much of a fighter that benefits from more lax officiating in England. So, I really don't think any of that matters a whole lot.

Yeah hopefully not. But who knows, if it's a tight decision everyone will suddenly be focusing on the judges. Remember Lewis/Holyfield 1 - really bizzare scoring there, with the English judge leaning over backwards to prove how fair he was...

With Don King promoting a fight that big at that time...with a total unification on the line....you knew something fucked would happen to make there be a need for #2.

Few quid on each round from 1-5 for me. Odds of 50-1 down to 33-1.

I thought I was going to have a coronary before Tyson Holyfield I, and Lewis v Vitali. Was going fornicating mental during both fights, was ffing and blinding and leaping about spilling my pint when Lewis and Vitali went at it, and nearly broke my mates couch when I saw that Holyfield was dismantling Tyson.

btw - just spotted some early betting for Klitchko-Byrd. Klitchko 2/9 Byrd 3/1.

There may be doubts over Klitchkos mental state, but I really don't see anything Byrd has now to beat him. (just my lousy opinion of course.) However, I'd say 1/2ish would have to be minimum odds to make it worthwhile for me

Calzaghe v Lacy, Macca v Hobson and Alexander v McDonagh, if the WBU counts as a title fight!
